Life is Strange: Episode One | Gameplay

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m doing a gameplay of the first episode of Life is Strange!

*should I tag spoilers because I talk about a lot of things that happen in this game. if you don’t want to know about the game and the choices you’ll have to do then don’t read this.

So I’m doing another Gameplay even though no one really likes these posts but you know what I’m playing this game, I just finished episode one and I want to talk about it so you know what just deal with it. Okay so this is a video game that follows girl named Max who goes to an art school and after seeing a guy named Nathan shoot a girl, she discovers that she has the power to rewind time. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again I’m not very good at video games. Like I always make the wrong choices and I panic and mess things up. But I’ve played like two video games before I played this one *that i have reviewed here and here and I’ve had a little more experience with playing on the Play Station Four so I was prepared! Sort! *not really

I didn’t really know much about this game. With Alien: Isolation and Until Dawn, I knew about those games because I had watched Markiplier and he had played them but with this game I didn’t really anything. My dad just came home and gave it to me and I read the back but then I didn’t touch for like a week. I like that didn’t really know anything about it because when everything was happening I was like SURPRISE! Also side note if you’re wondering what happen to part three of Until Dawn, I finished the game and then I restarted it because I wasn’t happy with how it ended. I meant to write part three but then I started forgetting everything that had happened so right now I’m just gonna finish replaying and then do part three. Okay so the first sign of trouble in this game was when I start the game and the words ‘your actions have will have an effect on what happens’ pop up and I’m NO! Not a butterfly effect game!

Until Dawn was a butterfly effect game and I failed that so hard like I made all the wrong choices and only four people out of nine or ten characters survived. And I like I said before I make all the wrong choices or I miss things that can help me or I panic do the wrong thing! The plus side to this is that Max’s powers allow you to go back in time and change your decisions but the down side to that is that her powers can only go back so far that you have to go back at that moment or else you’re stuck. I have no idea which choice is the right choice. Whenever I pick a choice I feel confident but then the butterfly or rewind thing in the corner will go off and make noise and will be ‘go back and fix that’ or the very threatening ‘THIS ACTION WILL HAVE CONSEQUENCES!’ and then I’m like did I make the right choice because I have no clue what this game whats from me!

You can also take pictures of different things in this which I enjoy but I’ve missed a lot of things that you can take pictures of so I really hope that doesn’t come back and bit me later or else I’ll cry and cry and cry. Also you can talk to people and they can ask you things and I didn’t really do that. I talked a teacher at one point and signed a thing where the weird guard wants to put cameras everywhere and then ‘wonderful’ this action will have consequences pop up! It makes me question everything! I also stopped a football from hitting a girl on the head so that was nice. It took me like five years to figure out how to tamper with the paint to spill on the mean girl Victoria who I was then nice to because my goal is always the same which it is……….

I was nice and we got along for like for a couple seconds. Later I got a text saying that we weren’t friends and I was a little hurt if I’m being honest. Let’s talk about that asshole Nathan like this kid has issues and I think he is on like hardcore drugs and I think he’s insane or like borderline insane either way he’s insane and he shoot girl and he beat up that cool kid Warren I think that’s his name who had nothing to do with it. Also the girl who got shot was Max’s old best friend, Chloe, which I was surprise that it was her but not really because she kept talking about her so I was like she is probably important and she was!!!!

I’m very curious on what’s happening in this universe as the episode ends with it snowing and when the story takes place it’s summer I think. I bet you that we are going to be solving the mystery of what happened to the missing girl whose name I’ve already forgotten but then something is going to happen with Max’s powers which causes things to go wrong and it causes the storm that she keeps having dreams about because if I know anything about time travel, it’s that changing the past will have an negative on the future. That’s my theory right now it could change as the game goes on but right now I think I’ll stick with that.

This game is great and besides the paranoid feel that I have every time I make a goddamn decision, I’m very much joying playing this game. I have four chapters left and I will be doing post like this one where I just talk about them and how I make bad choices. I recommend this game to guys and if you enjoy time travel and another games that make you question everything. I hope you enjoyed this review and make sure to look out for more coming your way. Until Dawn: Part 2 | Gameplay

Greetings everyone and welcom to GAMEPLAY! Today I’m back with the second part of my Until Dawn walk through with all the choices I have made and the out come of that.

I wrote the first part a couple days ago and you can read that here and I talked about how I failed at a lot of things. So when I picked up this game again to start off I had pretty much just lost hope of ever mastering this game and just decide that I was going to play this the best way I could which was pressing buttons and hoping they were right. I left off last time with Josh being killed, Sam being kidnapped, Mike being stuck in the mines, and Ashley and Chris freaking out.

Emily and Matt had to walk through this herd of deer and you had the choice to hurt them but like I said in the last one by hurting the animals you could like somehow set nature off balance I guess so I didn’t do that.

Emily and Matt make their way to this tower to go and get out. There you can find a flare gun and give it Emily or Matt and I gave to Matt for some reason I don’t know why. Matt sends out a flare and then something cuts wires that makes the building fall. Emily is like hanging from the tower and Matt has a choice to save Emily or jump to safety. I tried to save Emily but it wouldn’t work so I jumped to safety and then the tower just falls into a pit taking Emily with it.

Mood at the moment:

We then cut to Ashley and Chris who are busy being in love looking for Sam because she is missing and they are looking through the basement and find all the creepy stuff. Like Sam’s clothes on clown dummy, a lot of clues, and I got Ashley scissors. When they find Sam, the creepy guy comes after them and then Ashley stabs him with the scissors but then the creepy guy punches her in the face. Then they both get knocked out and when they wake up it’s time for another stupid game that makes me have a panic attack. The voice says that he has to kill himself or Ashley.

Mood at that moment:

I started freaking out and I picked Chris and then the screen cuts to Mike finding Sam tied up and her getting some clothes other then the towel she was wearing. The two find Ashley and Chris and the creepy guy and we find out that the gun *thankfully is loaded with blanks and the creepy guy turns out to be……………… *wait for it………. JOSH!!!!

Mood at the moment:

Turns out Josh wasn’t to happy about what happened to his sisters and he made the choice to prank all of his friends because of what they did. But Mike thinks that Josh killed Jessica and then he and Chris take him outside, tie him up, and leave him outside. We cut back to Emily who is hanging upside down for the tower. She ends up in the mines with a creature and a guy who is very flamethrower happy. As Emily tried to escape we enter another adventure of Gigi presses the wrong button and I get Emily bitten by the weird creature. She escape though and makes it back to the house and so does happy flamethrower guy who explains that the creatures is a wendigo.

*should we call the Winchesters????

Chris and the flamethrower guy go out to look for Josh but not before him and Ashley kiss. Then outside they find Josh isn’t there and then run into the wendigo. It can’t see you if you stand still so you have to keep the remote still but I didn’t do that and the flamethrower guy got killed. And that’s it for today everyone. I hope you enjoyed this post and there should only be one last part for this series. Have you guys played Until Dawn? If you have, did you play much better then I did? I hope you enjoyed this gameplay and I post once a week. Like, Comment, and follow for more rants like these! Also make sure to follow my social media links.

Until Dawn: Part 1 | Gameplay

Greetings everyone and WELCOME TO GAMEPLAY! Today I’m trying so new and it’s something that my lil sister on her blog *. This is basically a walk through of the game Until Dawn and the choices I make.

I like I should start out by saying that I’m not that great when it comes to video games. I played Alien: Isolation and I made about thousands mistakes when playing that game. My dad brought my sister and I this zombie game where you go around and shoot it zombies while completing objectives and I was just shooting everything while screaming. So when my dad said that brought me this game and I discovered it was a game where you decision affect the whole freaking game, I told myself that I would make good choices.

That’s not going so well.

I started out pretty great other then letting Beth and Hannah die in the beginning but I think that I couldn’t stop that. For the first butterfly thing, I decide not to go through Chris’ bag because everyone was going to be happy and get along. Chris trusted Sam because of that choice and he was happy to see her. Also I didn’t shot the squrriel the so nature remind at balance whatever that means.

Mood at that moment:

Like I said I wanted everyone to get along and be a good friend so being a good friend means that you tell them about when you see their lover with someone else so I made Matt look through the telescope and then he confront Mike and did it calmly! So again I felt pretty good. Mike and Jess got into a snowball fight and again I didn’t hit the bird because the nature at balance thing got me worried. Also had Matt side with Emily when Jess and Emily were having their little fun talk and I don’t know how that plays out yet. Then when Jess fell down in the tunnel, Mike was her hero and helped her out.

Mood at that moment:

Then everything went to sh*t. I should probably mention that I have never played a game on a playstation. Ever! I have only ever used the playstation for Netflix so this was a new experience for me. And again I had the let’s make the right decision’ vide and I was also like ‘I’m doing a great job! I’m such great gamer!’ *let’s just all take a second to laugh at that comment. So Jess and Mike are in the cabin and then a phone is thrown through a window and Jess -thinking that it’s everyone at the cabin – goes out and yells at them and then just kidnapped for something. Mike is so post to chase after her and I kept pressing the wrong buttons because I was to busy freaking out! *i was also watching scream on my kindle because season two was just add and stuff was also happening!!!!

Mood at that moment:

And then when I got to weird shady place where Jess was taken and she was dead.

Mood at that moment:

I literally lost all my confidences and now whenever I have to press buttons I start freaking out and screaming and when I start screaming, my family who is sitting in the other room is just like, “What’s wrong Gigi? did you get someone killed again?” and I’m just like “YAS” while crying.

Then everything else got a little crazier because Josh, Ashley, and Chris play with the Ouija board *which always works out well and get a message from one Josh’s sisters, Beth who died in the beginning. She gives them a message that says proof is in the library so Ashley and Chris start looking around the library and found this creepy stuff that are about Beth and Hannah’s deaths. Then suddenly this very creepy guy shows up and kidnaps Ashley and knocks out Chris.

*i told you he was creepy

Chris goes looking for Ashley and discovers her and Josh tied up and a saw standing between them. A voice comes on and tells Chris that he needs to choose who will die.

Mood at that moment:

I picked Ashley even through it was heartbreaking to kill Rami Malek *rest in peace you beautiful angel even though you only die in the game. Then I start playing Matt and Emily who are just walking around in the freezing cold and then have to go and look for the cable car to find help. The two are walking around in the woods when they are surround by a herd of deer on a cliff. Then we cut to Sam who is having a calming bath and oh yeah the creepy guy in the mask is watching her. Sam gets out of the and discovers that her clothes are missing and she goes through the house in towel following a bunch of balloons with arrows. Sam walks into a theater, video of Sam in the bath and Josh being cut in half is show, then I made the decision to throw a vase at the guy and then run away. Again like I said I was panicking and I did what I would probably did if I was in this position.

Run like hell!

Mood at that moment:

According to the butterfly affect menu that you can look at, that was the correct choice but you could have always grabbed a bat that Josh locked up at a point in the game before. Because it said that I had pick the correct, I was slowing growing confident again and continued running but then I got gassed by the creepy. So much for making the right choices. Then I went back to Matt and Emily and I was still doing that thing were I don’t hurt animals and it was the right choices.

Mood at that moment:

Also before every chapter begins you are in a meeting with this really shady doctor guy who just asks you random questions and then if he doesn’t believe what you answer he just starts yelling and in the room he is in, creepy things are added. It’s weird! And it turns out that creepy guy in the mask is his patient!

That’s where I left off in the game. It was really hard for me but everyone is laughing at this post as they read it which is okay. Have you guys played Until Dawn? If you have, did you play much better then I did? I hope you enjoyed this gameplay and I know that I’ve already posted this week but I wanted to post this now before I forgot everything.Like, Comment, and follow for more rants like these! Alien Isolation | GamePlay

Hello everyone and welcome to GAMEPLAY!!!!!!!!! *it’s probably not as dramatic as it was in my head….. So GamePlay is just a fancy way of saying I’m doing a review on a game. But sue me I wanted to write a review and give it a fancy name. Even though it’s not that creative. Let’s  go with the review already!

Today, if you couldn’t tell by the title, we are reviewing Alien Isolation!

-A: Good story with characters that got better and a slow plot line

Alien Isolation is horror-action and very hard and intense game that takes place in the Alien universe and 15 years after the first movie. The game follows Amanda Ripley *or Ripley Jr if you watch Mark , who as been trying to look for mother Ellen Ripley *from the movies. She mets Samuel who tells her how they’ve found a flight record for the Nostromo on another ship called Sevastopol.

Ripley goes with Samuel and a girl named Taylor to investigate the fight record but the three are separated aboard the Sevastopol *which when you’re playing the game seem like a never ending maze. Ripley goes around the ship trying to fix it, look for help, escape threats, and trying to survive.

I’m not a gamer. But most of my friends and family are and are always like telling me about to play more games so after watching Markiplier plays this game and watching the first two Alien movies, I chose this game to play. I spent most of Christmas break playing this and most evenings when chances are I had mountain of homework. I literally didn’t read at all after I got this game, I mean I read one book and it was Winter by Marissa Meyer. Let me just tell you when I finished it and I had the proudest feeling but some sad feelings because it was such a great game. But i was mainly feeling pride through because this game is the hardest thing I’ve ever play. *well compared to minecraft and Mario cart it’s pretty easy.

The game is so beautiful. Even though I’m not a gamer, I’m one giant space nerd.

Look at that. The views of space were the only thing keeping me calm. Sometimes it’s hard to look at it though because chances are something is chasing or trying to kill you. Speaking of things trying to kill you, there are many other things on the ship that want to kill you. You’ve got survivors on the ship that are just trying to protect themselves from the alien and other survivors who might steal their supplies. They don’t care if you’re not trying to steal or that you’re not a xenomorph or that you’re not face hugger that wants to implant a alien in the you.

You then have the Working Joe.

These guys suck. When you don’t have the right weapon, then they are hard to kill. They are creepy af. They will always appear through out the game and will tried and kill you every once and while. The things you want to use against the working joe is a EMP mine, a Stun Baton, revolver, bolt gun, and shotgun. AND NO I DON’T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT SEVASTOPOL’S SAFTEY RULES!!!!!!!Then there’s the biggest jerk ever, Xenomorph or the Alien.

*screaming because it’s still so cool

When the alien first appeared, I started freaking out because the alien is soo cool. But the more you play the game and the more you play the game, you began to hate the alien. This alien is the most annoying thing in this game. It’s keeping Ripley from being happy and it never leaves you alone. You can’t even run for half the game because everything you do makes noise and it’s annoying.

So the point of this story is that Alien is awesome and annoying too.

There are some things that in this story that will make cry so warning (even though I tag this with spoilers so chances are people are knew that.) This game is also pretty long with it’s 19 missions. This game is amazing and still has the same intensity as the Alien movies *well i’ve only seen the first too so that type of intensity. I recommend this game for Alien fans and game lovers. Hope you enjoyed this review. Follow, like, and comment if you must or have a different a opinion.
