AAAHHHHHH!!!! | Avengers: Infinity War review

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m reviewing Infinity War!

I’ve been waiting for the movie for a long time. I was so worried about it and excited to see and I made a whole post about it which you can read here. I wanted to see this the day it came out but I went out of town and then my family wanted to see it all together so we had to wait but I finally saw it and I am so emotional and it was so good! I loved it. It was so good. I have a lot of opinions on it so again if you have not seen you have to leave. If you are like me, you have been spending all your time avoiding spoilers. It was so hard! It was easy at first but then a week past and then suddenly everyone was talking about it without tagging spoilers and it got so hard that I had to get off Tumblr because no where was safe.

So let’s get talking about this movie because I have so many thoughts and no theories! This movie had my shook from the opening scene. I knew that we would probably begin with Thor and we did. Thanos is attacking the ship that was at the end of Ragnarok and Thor is getting beaten up because Thanos wants the tesseract and then Loki as the tesseract and he tries to attack Thanos and all I could think was don’t do this you idiot! Then he did and he died! I thought that he might die but I didn’t think he would die three minutes into the film! I have no clue if Loki is really dead. I don’t want him to be dead because I love him so much and he is just so great! I can’t believe he died in the first fucking minutes!

Everyone was so great in this film and a person that I surprisingly really enjoyed was Doctor Strange. I don’t know why I just really enjoyed him in this film. He was so great and I loved his interactions with Tony. There were so many good jokes and moments and I’d loved it! I also really enjoyed Tony in this movie because in Ultron and Civil War they sort of made him out as a bad guy but this film we got to see him as a good guy again and I loved it! The chemistry between all the characters was amazing and wonderful. I was worried about how they would deal with all of them but I really enjoyed.

Weirdly I didn’t enjoy the Earth scenes that much which I wasn’t expecting. I thought that I would enjoy them with me always loving Cap, Sam, Bucky, and Scarlet Widow together but this time around I don’t know them seemed to just be there and they weren’t really in that story much. That’s weird because in the trailers it seemed as if they were in most of the film but they weren’t really. I loved Cap’s entrance with the training going by and then there he is looking all cool in the shadows. I just love Cap so much. He is always my favorite. A surprise to me was that I really enjoyed Scarlet Witch and Vision. I’ve never really enjoyed them but for some reason I really liked them. I just connected with them and I loved their scenes.

The Guardians in this film were great as normal. I loved when they met Thor and Peter was trying to one up him and it was so funny. Everyone was just so great. When Gamora died, I was just so sad. Before she died, she was giving that big speech about how he loved nothing and I was like ‘Shut up! He is going to kill you!’ and then she died. I loved seeing more of her relationship with Thanos. It was just so interesting to watch and seeing it play out was just so great. You’ve never seen anything about Thanos and what it was like for her and Nebula you have only heard stuff about it and watching it was so interesting. So let’s talk about the ending because what else is there. So the ending has been talked about a lot since this movie can out and I was so scared to see it.

So Thanos is attacking everything and Strange gives him the Time Stone and I was convinced that it was a trick but it wasn’t. He gives him the stone and I was like ‘What the hell man?’ Then he gets the stone from Vision and Thor wounds him and I’m thinking yeah we’re gonna win but then he is still kicking and he snaps his fingers and goes to some hut! Then Bucky disappears and I fucking lost it. I was crying so hard. Then for a second I thought that Okoye was gonna disappear and then it was T’Challa and I was gone! Then Groot disappears and it was released that he said ‘Dad’ and Omg! Then the Guardians disappeared which was not fair and then Strange disappears but he says that it was the only way which what the fuck does that mean. Then Peter disappears and he is just like I don’t want to go and it reminded me of when David Tennett regenerated into 11 and he said that and I was just crying so hard. Tears were going down my neck! It was just so emotional! My sister was like ‘Calm down it’s okay!’ but it wasn’t okay.

And then movie just fucking ends! With our core four still living but half the universe is gone! And what the hell is gonna what happen next? Strange said there was one outcome  were they one and then he fucking gave Thanos the Time stone and before he dies he tells Tony that it was the only way. Is this a plan? It’s not a great plan man. Still pulling that Sherlock Holmes shit and not telling anyone your plan. Another thing that is kind of stupid but I was kind of disappointed that they didn’t make a Sherlock joke because both Benedict Cumberpatch and Robert Downy Jr. have both played Sherlock and I thought it would have been funny. Back to the main point, I don’t know what they are going to next. I know that people are going to live because they have sequels coming out but how the hell are they going to bring them back? So the thing that I’ve thought the most is that they are going to use the time stone to fix things but that would basically make this movie worthless. Time travel is a tricky thing to have in your plot and if you use it to fill your plot hole that’s just not fair.

I was convinced that Iron Man and Cap were gonna make up and then they were gonna die but that didn’t happen so that will probably in the next film. Will they like sacrifice themselves to save the lives of everyone else? A theory that I saw was that their souls are in the soul stone and that’s why when Thanos used it we see baby Gamora because her soul is there. That probably isn’t true but in the comics someone was in the soul stone so it could be a possibility. Honestly Infinity War was a great movie and I think I’m going to give it an -A. I would love to an +A but unfortunately I didn’t like the ending. I’ve never been a fan of open endings and I wasn’t not a fan of this one. I hope that there was a plan for this ending and it wasn’t just for shock value and that they don’t completely erase it. This film is funny and heartbreaking and a step up from Ultron.

That was my thoughts on Infinity War. I’m so ready for Avengers 4 because I need answers and I can’t wait to see Captain Marvel rock it. I’m ready for my girl! If you have seen it though then what did you think? Did you love it? Did you hate it? You should follow my book club here and other social media links. Let’s Talk About Infinity Wars!

Greetings Earthlings and today I’m talking about Infinity Wars!

Ah Infinity Wars the movie that we have all been waiting. We have been waiting so long for these characters to come to together and it’s finally happening and I have never been so scared in my whole life for a movie. I have been worried for movies before this is like a whole new level for me. I’ve waited so long for this and not that it is happening I’m so scared! When the first teaser was dropped I wasn’t too scared because I thought that they would be making this into two parts.

Whenever I panicked about this movie I would just tell myself that I didn’t have to worry that much because there was going to be a sequel. Then I would stop worrying because everything would be fine. I was excited because I love all these characters and these last Marvel movies such as Spiderman: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnorak, and Black Panther have all been amazing. So why shouldn’t this one be amazing? More stuff about the movie kept being released and the date was moved up and I was excited. Then the second trailer dropped and I watched it and I had never been so excited and there was so much in and it was wonderful!

There was such happening in this trailer and I was excited! The characters had more interactions and there were so many scenes and it was so exciting! Doctor Strange looked so cool, Peter looked amazing, I love the scene between Star Lord and Iron Man where he is saying that he needs to do the pan because it would work better! It was just so good.  But then seconds after I watched the trailer I was so excited my dad sends me an article saying that Infinity Wars would only be one movie and my nerves got too big real fast. Basically I’m now so scared and excited and worried and wanting more! So I excited to see what had next but I’m terrified. There is going to be a 4 avengers movie and Captain Marvel will be in it and she looks great but I’m still worried about everything because it’s not a second part to Infinity Wars. It will be related but not a direct sequel and I’m just worried about how all of it will be handled.

That is it for my Infinity Wars post! I will definitely be seeing this movie and will be doing a review on it when it comes out. I’m excited and I’m scared and I’m hoping that it will be good. Are you guys excited to see this movie? Are you scared? I hope you enjoyed this post and make sure to look out for more coming your way soon. I have a discussion post coming out next week which I found very interesting and I hope you do it. Infinity wars comes out April 27 and you bet your ass I’m going to see. I hope you guys see it! Books, Movies, and Shows that made me cry!

Greetings Earthlings! So if you remember in like 2016 I did a post talking about the movies, shows, and books that made me cry. I’ve been wanting to redo that post mainly because I’ve cried watching a lot things since that post and I felt like I should do another one because it’s becoming a long list. I will be spoiling so look out! Let’s began!

Black Panther

The most recent one on my list as I saw it today *today as in February 18. It was amazing and I want to watch it again because it was so good. IF you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it. It’s my favorite movie of this year. But I cried after the second challenge and you think that T’Challa is died. I knew that he wasn’t die as the movie is about him but I was so mad at the movie for doing this and I was sad watching the affects of his ‘death’ on his family that I started crying. It wasn’t like a big cry but still I was real emotional.

 Gravity Falls

Gravity Falls was that showed that I ever expected to love or break my heart. I started watching this show because I had seen some people talking about it and I needed a new show. Like Miraculous Ladybug I thought that this would be a fun show to watch and I spent the whole weekend watching it and I cried my eyes out. Season one was what I expected it to be but then I got to see two season and I cried almost every episode because they were so many emotions. The season finale broke my heart but at the same time it was lovely. It was just so amazing and wonderful. If you haven’t watched this show I highly recommend it.

Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare

I have a whole review talking about this book which you can read here and if you read that review then you know it fucking broke me. I had a lot of hype around Lord Of Shadows and my expectations were met. There are so many moments in this book to which I was having a break down but I think that the moment I had a metal down was around the end of the book. If this book had come out in a different time then I probably would have read it all in one night but this book came out in exam week which did not help me. I spent my whole week studying but in between breaks I read a little of this book. Then school ended for summer and I went up to my grandma’s for the weekend and all I did was read this book. I was tired and emotional so the more I read this book the more emotional I got and then I got to the point where I was crying. Then when I got to the end, I was in the middle of dinner with my cousins and I just sobbed. It was bad but this book was so good! I’m so excited for Queen of Air and Darkness.

I said it in my Spiderman post I cry watching superhero movies. I’ve seen this film twice and both times I’ve cried in the same fucking spot! If you don’t know this was the last Wolverine movie and so you have to expect somethings to happen but I did not expect to hit me as it did. It’s just an emotional movie and it was so great to watch and even though sometimes I have a probably with movies when they kill main leads but I thought that this one worked so well that I didn’t have a problem with that decision. It was just such a good film and I loved it so much.

Star vs. the Forces of Evil

This show! Like Gravity Falls and Miraculous I didn’t not expect to love this show as much as I did. The first season was so cute and funny and then that fucking finale broke me! I didn’t expect it to make me cry as much as I did. It just shows how much Star and Marco care about each other and what they would do together. Then I got to season two and in the beginning it was like season one but somethings were different as there was more mystery and more things to be learned about the world. Then those last couple episodes fucking broke me! I started crying again! I love Star and Marco so much! With the song and him learning that she had a crush on him but he was with Jackie and then Toffee coming back and her having to leave. The show just ended with the house and seeing what was left from where Star was was just so sad. I haven’t watched season three  yet because they haven’t added it to Hulu and I don’t have cable but I was reading some of the summary and I’ve seen stuff on tumblr and I started tearing up. I’m not ready!!! Also I’ll be making a full review on this show because I love it.

They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

My review should be up already so I put it here. If you are wondering what this book is about look at the title and that will give some clue and then just go on goodreads and look up the summary because I don’t wanna cry no more! I cried reading this book because the relationship is so beautiful and wonderful and the whole experience of this book was just great. I loved so of the moments that happens before they die and then one of them died and I started tearing up and then other things happened and then another one died and I broke down because the book decided to fucking end! Then I reviewed book and I cried writing that review because I was thinking about everything that happened in this book and I just love it soo much! Favorite book of the year!

Spider-man: Homecoming

Again crying in superhero movies. I said I was going to cry watching it and I did. I have a review for this which you can read here and that was a lot of fun. This movie was amazing and I loved it and I cried. I mainly cried during one scene which was the scene where Peter is under a bunch of rocks and he is trying to get out. The scene was just so wonderfully acted, Tom Holland is an amazing actor and he is great in the rest of this film but he just shined in that scene. I was also freaking out because if you don’t know it’s a scene from the comics and my best friend Abby and who saw the movie with me and we were like silently screaming in the theater. It was a great time and I enjoyed it so much! You know I’m going to be a mess when Infinity War comes out.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life

I did a review for this one and no one liked it which I was pretty sad about because I really love this show and I loved writing that review which you can read here. This was the revival of Gilmore Girls and it had four movie long episodes and the last one Fall was my favorite and I cried almost the whole time. I cried when Lorelai called Emily and finally told her favorite Richard moment. I cried during the wedding with her and Luke’s wedding. I loved that the name of book was called Gilmore Girls and that she was going to write. I was not expecting that ending and it broke my heart that we never got more and I WANT MORE! I’ve only rewatched Fall once and I cried again because it’s just so good and sad and wonderful!

The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli

upside of unrequited

I cried reading this at the worst possible time! I was back stage at a play and I had a small part so I would just sit and read a book. I had gotten a copy of this book from the library and I loved Simon so I knew that I was going to love this book to. I was sitting backstage reading this book and I could just relate to the main character with her having all these crushes and none of them liking her back but then she finally met someone and I was just like ‘this was the book I always need in my life!’. I started crying but then I remember I’m backstage and I have my whole face painted with makeup and I was about to go on stage and sing so I had to go put the book away so that I would stop crying! I then went and sang and tried to kidnap a girl *that’s just want i had to do with the play and then I finished everything up and I drove home and I finished this book and it was amazing! Simon is still my favorite but I love this book and I related a little more then I did to Simon.

Beauty and the Beast

Wow! What a shock! The movie based off my favorite childhood movie made me! It’s not like I made a post talking about how excited I was for it. Nor did I make a post about the original movie and I didn’t make a giant review talking about how much I loved this movie. But wait! I did all of that and I fucking sob watching this film. Beauty and the Beast just means so much to me and it’s one of my favorite movies of all time. Seeing it with Emma Watson and experiencing my favorite movie in theaters just brought be to tears and I just loved it. Also Evermore! Evermore fucking broke! When Tale as Old as Time started playing and they started dancing I was just like tears. I got so emotional that my friend who went to the movies went me had to hold my hand so that I could calm down. I love this so much! If you don’t like Beauty and the Beast and think it is unhealthy fight me!

This is Us

This should be obvious if you watch this show. IF you haven’t then you probably have heard about it. My mom started it and I would like sort of be in the room while she watched and then suddenly we started watching it together. One weekend I was home alone and I just binge all of season one and the episodes of season two that I hadn’t watched yet. I love this show but it breaks me into pieces. I posted a picture of me crying on instagram thinking it would be funny but then my extended family starting texting me and my parents to make sure I was okay. I don’t know why they didn’t see the text in the photo that said I was crying over the fact This is US and freaking Jack and the crockpot. If you haven’t watched This is US, you should and then you should tell me how much you cried. If you have watched This is Us and you haven’t cried then I ask you if you have a soul? Or did you just have better control of your emotions better then I do?

I hate Everyone by You by Gaby Dunn and Allison Raskin

If you’ve been around here then you know that I love this book. If you listen then you know that I didn’t love as much as I do now. I didn’t cry the first time I read this book but one day I was having a hard time. I was stressed and super depressed and I was watching Gaby and Allison videos on youtube because that always makes me feel better but I wanted to read a book so I just decided to read this book to make me happy and it did just that. It just related so much to my life at that time and it made me feel better and wonderful and it made me laugh and I cried. I tried to get my sister to read it but she decided not to because she hates reading. I love this book so much. It’s a lot of fun and it’s very real and I love it. I read it three times last year which is something I never do as I only want to read a book once a year but I loved this book so much that I just needed it. This has definitely become one of my all time favorites.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Incase you are wondering I did put the book Deathly Hallows on my list but I did not put the movie on there for some reason. Basically every time I watch this film I cry. It just happens. One time I wasn’t even watching it but my mom was and I came into the room to make my lunch and I was listening to it and I started tearing up because it’s soo sad! But it’s soo good! Watching this movie just leaves me as a mess.

Orphan Black

So Orphan Black ended last year and damn I was scared about what was going to happen next because damn! I was messed up! This last season didn’t start off too great as some of the episodes felt like filler episodes and sometimes it felt like we were doing things that didn’t needed to be done but I still held on tight and watched and the episodes got better and better then the finale happened!!!!!!!! AHHHH!!!!!!! I was just sitting and watching everything happen and it was so good. I didn’t cry until the end but then after it ended all I did for about ten minutes was cry off and on again. I would sob some and then stop sobbing and then I would think about everything that had happened and then I would cry again. It was like that for a while. I love this show and the lead actress was rob from an emmy!

Turtles All the Way Down by John Green

I have a review on this book which badly describes my feelings for this book as I had a hard time writing it. I didn’t cry while reading this book, I cried after I finished reading this book. I read this in one day like I went to the store to go get a present for my best friend which I did and then I saw a signed copy of this book and I bought it and I spent my whole day reading it. Then that night I was in bed and I finished it and for a second I didn’t know how I felt about it. I enjoyed it and I knew that but there was something about this book that I couldn’t put by finger on but then about five minutes later, I started thinking about everything in this book and the journey that the character’s go through and the mental health part of it and I started crying. I loved this book and it is wonderful and amazing and I highly recommend it.

Wonder Woman

Again I have a review which you can read here. I cried when Steve died and then I cried when she remembered him telling her that he could save today, she could save the world because if that’s not a perfect relationship then I don’t want is. It’s such a perfect movie and probably my favorite DC movie.

The Mindy Project

I cried watching the finale. This Final season I was basically just like ‘If her and Danny don’t get back together then this is my least favorite show ever!’ because I hated Ben. He was the worst and he took all of the humor out of the show and he tried to make her a boring person but then they got divorced and I was like yay! Then her and Danny started hanging out again and getting along but then there was the last episode and it was perfect. There were parallels to the first episode which was so much fun and I was crying and then her and Danny made up and I was so happy. I love this show and I’m sad it’s over but I’m happy with the ending.

Final Fall by Heather W. Petty

I have a review for all three books in the trilogy which you can read here, here, and here and it might be my favorite trilogy out there because damn it was so good! This is a trilogy about the relationship of a young Sherlock and Moriarty and watching the path the characters go down is just chilling and crazy. Final Fall was something I was kinda scared about because I did have hype a lot around this book and I got an arc and I saw that the size of this book was really small. But I understood why it was so short once I read because it all fit so perfectly together. I was so sad watching Sherlock and Mori fall out and watch her go deepier into the madness. It was just something crazy and wonderful and every time I hear Writer in the Dark by Lorde I think of this trilogy. If you haven’t read this series then I really recommend it because it’s soo good!

 Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Guess what? I have a review for this movie which you can read here. I talk about why I cried in the review and because this movie is so popular I don’t think I can talk about what made me cry but it wasn’t a very big cry and it was right at the end. I really enjoyed this movie.

Wonder by R.J. Palacio

The last thing on this last is Wonder and I haven’t seen the film yet so I’m only talking about the book. You should know what this book is about and it should be obvious of why I cried. I cried reading about the way the other kids treat Auggie and seeing how his sister and her friends react to everything. Normally in books you only see one point of view and that what makes Wonder so amazing because you see it from every angle.I was in the car when I read this book and I started crying and then my mom started screaming at me to stop crying.

One Day at a Time

I have cried so many times watching this and I love this show so many times. I first cried watching the season one finale when stupid Victor left before the Father-daughter dance and then Penelope went and dance with her and then Alex, Lydia, and Schneider danced with them and it was so beautiful and wonderful. They just care about each other so much. Then when Penelope decided to go off her meds because she didn’t want to have to tell Max about her meds. But she got depressed and started being mean to everyone and couldn’t get out of bed. Then when she made up with Schneider and they listened to her recording of her talking and I was just in tears because I could relate to it so much and I understood everything that she was saying she went through. Then when Schneider told her about after he went sober he decided to have one drink and after that night he realized that he could never it again and it was sort of like what she was going through. Then when she told Max and he was so understanding and it brought me to tears again. Another time I cried was just the whole season two finale. I was mess. I love this show so much and everyone should watch it.

That was the books, tv shows, and movies that made me cry! What books and movies made you cry? I hope you guys enjoy this list! Next up should be my Star review and my Gravity Falls review so look out for that soon! You should follow my book club here and other social media links. Star Wars: The Last Jedi Review!

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m reviewing Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the eighth movie in the Star Wars franchise!

also little spoilers about the movies before this one

I was going to start this review with this is the movie we’ve all been waiting for but I don’t really think that’s true because the Force Awakens was the movie we were all waiting for and plus I feel like I’ve started thirty different reviews that way. This was a movie that we were all looking forwarded to because it’s fucking Star Wars. I love Star Wars, honestly it’s probably my favorite franchise and I also love that I’m live during the time when the next generation of films are coming out. I mean I was probably a live when the prequels came out but who gives a shit about the prequels? I saw the Force Awakens in 2015 and I loved it but I did have some issues with it as it’s lack of plot and the fact that there’s another fucking Death Star. I didn’t review because by the time I saw it, people had already said everything that had been said about it and then Rogue One came out which had one of the coolest endings ever! Again I didn’t write a review because I didn’t really want to.

But today *December 17 of 2017 I watched the Last Jedi, the movie that I have had so much anxiety about ever since they announced the title. I mean seriously if you didn’t see the announcement about this film being called the Last Jedi and didn’t get anxiety of what the hell was going to happen to Luke then you are most likely heartless or just didn’t care. This is called the everyone while is normal when it comes to emotions while Grace only ever cries method. But basically there was never once a second when I wasn’t scared for Luke leading but then the release date got closer and I got scared about the whole movie in general as some people really loved it and then some people hated it and then some thought it was fine. After seeing this movie, I can’t understand why people would hate this movie as it has some of the best Star Wars scenes in the whole Franchise. That doesn’t mean that this movie doesn’t come without it’s flaws.

Unlike the Force Awakens where I literally didn’t leave me sit because I was enjoying the film so much with this film there are so spots where you wonder why they are there and it makes you want to leave because you could care about anything else. The parts involving Rey and Luke as she tries to get him to help the Resistance and help her try to figure out what is happening with the force are so of the best parts of this film. Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley are amazing in this film and the scenes they are great. Some another scenes that I love and didn’t expect to love were the scenes with Kylo Ren and Rey. As they are bonded together in way that they can communicate and those scenes are amazingly acted and amazingly shot. I didn’t like I was going to like them because I thought they were going to be these cliche scenes but they weren’t. I loved how they looked and I loved the sounds happening as they talked. It was just so cool!

That’s another plus about this movie is that it is wonderfully shot. There is one scene where Laura Dern turns the ship around and slams in it the enemy ship and the way it is shot and shown is wonderful. There is no sound and honestly it’s so amazing. I never knew how much one silent scene of ship crushing into another would be so beautiful to see. The last part of this film was honestly an anxiety attack. Like the first part was okay like I said I only really liked Rey and Luke scenes, the other ones weren’t the best. But the last part was anxiety because things just kept getting worse and worse and I didn’t think things were going to get better for them and I was freaking out but they did. The resistance run away to a place where the rebels hid and the Empire gets there and they try to fight and after lots of stuff happens which I will get into later, Luke just shows up and they try to shoot him down and for a second you think well I thought he was died and i got so mad thinking that was the way he was going to kill him but then it’s shown that Luke is still alive and he just brushes his shoulder like all of that was nothing.

He and Kylo face off and it is amazing like it’s lightsaber off and like a verbal comebacks and  it’s so great! When then learn that Luke wasn’t really there and that he was on the island where Rey found him. Luke does pass away and even though it broke my heart I love how they came full circle with him as the scene with his death as he looking at the two suns and the same music is playing and I’m tearing up just thinking about it. It was so good! Luke is one of the best parts of this film. Carrie Fisher is also amazing even though she is a coma for a good part of this film but she comes back and she’s great. I’m worried about what will happen for the next movie because Luke is dead, Han is dead, and they planned on Leia having a big role in the next one but Carrie Fisher as passed away so I’m scared about what might happen for the next one.

I didn’t like how they treated Finn in this film. Like he is still a great character and John does a great job playing him but his storyline isn’t great. He and a new character Rose, who is the cutest thing by the way I loved her and felt like she could have had a better story as well, go on a mission to find a codebreak who can break them into enemy ship who is following them and I didn’t like this storyline. I didn’t like how they sort of forced Finn and Rose into a relationship and that kiss just wasn’t timed well. They just took to great characters and placed them in a storyline that didn’t really work well. They should have had a better story. I also didn’t like how they pulled Yoda out again! Guys! How many times do we have to do this! Stop bring Yoda into everything! I get that we used him to get Luke to help others and bring him back but there could have been another way we could have done this. And I knew they were going to do it too! Like Luke is walking to get the books but then they do this shot as if someone is watching him and there he was and AHHH! Laura Dern’s character is one that I forget was in the film and then when she appeared in it I was like oh she’s here. I liked her character she was fine but the scene where she saves everyone is pretty great.

Honestly this film is really great it’s not my favorite Star Wars movie but it’s not my least favorite. Remember the prequels? It’s okay neither do I. For a Star Wars film it has some best moments in the whole franchise. I think you will enjoy and if you don’t then I’m sorry. I’m going to give Star Wars: The Last Jedi a B+

Rating: B+

I really enjoyed this film and I love Star Wars so it was great. I am scared that people will hate on this film for all the wrong reasons which I don’t want. I have a lot of new reviews coming for you soon such as Stranger Things Season Two and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season one and Zenith. If you have seen it though then what did you think? Did you love it? Did you hate it? You should follow my book club here and other social media links. The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones Review | Epic Adaptations

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m reviewing City of Bones, the movie!

I have a review for the book here and I have a review for the show here which you should check out. So before Shadowhunters happened they made a movie version of City of Bones staring Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower back in 2013. If I’m being honest I had never heard of the Mortal Instruments until this movie. I was a really big Lily Collins fan and I heard she was in this movie so I was like I want to watch it. So I watched it even though I had never read the books and I really enjoyed it even though I have no discovered that most all the fans don’t like this movie.

After reading the books, I can see why I mean it’s not the best adaptions out there but compared to Shadowhunters this movie is one of the best things out there. There are things that I like about this movie and there are something that I don’t like about. One thing about this movie is that it is pretty accurate to the book but that is also a con as it has some of my least things about the book. Like with Isabelle and Alec being real jerks and I’m like can’t we all get along. In Shadowhunters Izzy is nicer which I like because they have a great relationship later on and the beginning is so hard. Alec is still mean but you know he is in love with Jace and Jace doesn’t love him back.

I love Lily Collins in movie. She’s great! I loved her as Clary and I love Jamie Campbell Bower as Jace. They are the actors that I prefer as these characters. I mean Dom Sherwood is great but I just like this Jace more. The acting in this movie is a lot better then it is in the show and so are the graphics. The movie does have less Magnus which is accurate a little because he is not in the book a lot but I love him! He is my favorite character in the world which is something I like about the show more because there are so many moments with him and with him and Alec it’s amazing. I do like some of the show actors more because they add more to the characters. Even though this movie is fun and it a good adaptation of the book it is pretty boring at some times. I mean the book is 400 pages and a lot of that is filled with moments with the characters and nothing with the plot and they took some of those moments and added them to movie.

Accuracy: 75%

The film is pretty close to book. I mean I can see why fans had a problem with this film and that’s why it didn’t work but it’s a better adaptation then show even though the show does do some things better. There are lines from the book which I did like because they were some of my favorite lines from the books. I did enjoy this movie and I’m sad the City of Ashes never got to be made. Shadowhunters is an okay show and I will be watching the second season for next Epic Adaptations with City of Ashes. This movie is fun and it’s nice to watch. If you like the Mortal Instruments then I think you’ll like this. I’m giving City of Bones a +B.

Rating: +B for being great but also so moments that weren’t the best

I enjoyed this film it’s a lot of fun. It isn’t the best film out there but if you just want something to watch and have a good time watching then this a good film for you. IF you like shadowhunters please do not come for me. This is just my opinion and I do like Shadowhunters. Okay? Okay calm down. Have you guys watched this movie? What did you think of it? Did you like or did you hate it? Let me know! I hope you enjoyed this review and make sure to look out for more coming your way. You should follow my book club here and other social media links. Grace’s Reaction to the Every Day trailer!

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m telling you my reaction to the Every Day trailer!

So Every Day is one of my favorite books and David Levithan is one of my favorite authors. When I heard that they were making Everyday into a movie I literally knew that  this was going to be a hard movie to adapted. For one it follows a boy who changes bodies every single day and he loves in with the same girl every day. So basically all I had were negative thoughts about this movie and now after seeing the trailer those thoughts have only grown.

The trailer makes it seem like A isn’t sure that their relationship isn’t going to work out which isn’t as true in the book he wants to make it work and Rhiannon doesn’t believe in it. I hate this change that they are making it makes it seem like another romance with some paranormal element to it! It also seems that we are going to be following Rhiannon more then we will be following A which annoys the shit out of me. If you don’t know there is a book that follows the events in Every Day but in Rhiannon’s point of view and I didn’t like that book and I don’t like books that are the seem but in different points of views. I don’t want that! If A and Rhiannon stay together in the ending and it doesn’t follow the book ending then I’m gonna be so pissed.

Like the Love, Simon trailer I’m angry and full of anxiety. I want to love this movie but this trailer does not make it easy for me. Are you guys excited for this movie? Have you read the book? Are you guys also filled with anxiety about this trailer? I hope you enjoyed this really random post and make sure to look out for different and a little more sane posts coming your way soon. Marvel Avengers Book Tag!

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m doing the Marvel Avengers Book Tag!

I didn’t create this tag and I don’t know who did but I love Marvel and Superheroes and books so I wanted to do this.

Iron Man

Your Favorite First Book

I love Iron Man but I watched the movies in the wrong order. My parents showed the first movie to my sisters and then they showed all three of us the second one and then we all went in saw the third one and I’d saw all the other Avengers movies. I finally watched it pretty recently and I did like it. First books in series aren’t always going to be the first because they are opening up the universe and the new world we are about to explore so they take time but their are some good ones. I’m going to pick Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare.

This book is just great!! I loved this book so much more than City of Bones and Clockwork Angel. I have a review on how I feel about it here. Lord of Shadow is about to come out as I’m writing and it’s probably already out when this post comes into the world! I’m so excited!! Another good first book is Alice in Zombieland. Damn that was the best one in the series.

Captain America

A Book that takes place in a different time

Captain America is my favorite. I love him so much! Chris Evans is just so gorgeous and I love him as the role of Steve Rogers. I don’t read a lot of books that take place in a different time period. I don’t know why, I don’t know why I just don’t find a lot of them or know of any of them so it’s not something that I read a lot of right next to science fiction. I have read Outlander, the Infernal Devices, and technically Harry Potter takes place in a different time. I think I’m going to pick Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson.

This book if you couldn’t guess is about the yellow fever and it follows a girl named Mattie and her life during the time of this and how she deals with it. It’s a really great book and I love it and I love Laurie Halse Anderson, her books are like damn! I would recommend this book to everyone because it’s so good.

A book character that you like more after they were casted

I love Thor and I love Chris Hemsworth. I didn’t really want to see this movie at first but then my family was like it’s so good and I’ve come to adore Thor and all the characters and Loki and these movies! Whose excited about Thor: Ragnarok? I AM!!! It took me awhile for me to decide what to pick for this question but I finally realized that my answer is Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy.

Draco Malfoy is terrible character well the choices he makes are terrible. He is a good boy that was forced into a life that he didn’t want. Now if I had read the books first then he would have just thought he was a spoiled brat but watching Tom Felton bring this character to the screen helped me understand what he was going through this and he made me love him more.

A book that you love but isn’t really a popular read for others

I love Hawkeye. I was so scared that he was going to die in Age of Ultron because they introduce as to his family and when his wife was like be safe and I was shit he is going to die but he didn’t! I’m going to pick to Sherlock inspire stories that I love and I couldn’t decide which one I should do so I’m going Lock & Mori by Heather W. Petty and the Clockwork Scarab by Colleen Gleason!

They are so amazing and so wonderful and I love them so much. I have review for both Lock and Mori books here and here and I have reviews for Stoker and Holmes here and here. If you haven’t read these books yet then go read them because they are so amazing and wonderful and I need the final books right now because I need to know what happens!!

Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch

A Book with a Sibling Duo

Okay so is Quicksilver coming back for Infinity Wars because I kept seeing stuff saying that he still is alive and is returning? Can someone just clear this up for me? Thanks. I don’t know who else there is to pick besides Fred and George from Harry Potter.

fred and george.jpg

I love them so much and they are just so amazing and the death in Deathly Hallows breaks my heart and AHHHHHHHHH!

A villain that you love and you can’t help but be attracted to

I love Loki. I love him so much. I’m so excited Thor 3 because I know what the title means and the trailers look great. I’m having a hard time picking this one because I can’t be a attracted to a lot of villains because they do such horrible things. I’m gonna go with Hideo from Warcross by Marie Lu.

I don’t know if he counts as villain but his motivation at the end of Warcross can be called villainy. I don’t know. I don’t feel attracted to any book villains right now. Because like I said before so many villains do terrible things and I stop loving them after that. Like Tate from American Horror Story, everyone loves him but he’s done such terrible things that I don’t like him.

A Book I’ve been meaning to read

Like every book in the world I feel like. I do have answer for this and it’s pretty shameful and the books I’ve been meaning to read are Six of Crows and Shadows and Bone! I’m sorry! I’ve been meaning to read them and every time I get them I just start reading them and then I give up on them. I plan on reading them soon but I’ve been saying that for awhile now.

The Hulk

A Book you can’t talk about without getting angry

DISHONORABLE MENTION: 13 REASONS WHY! I hate these books so much and I get so mad every time I talk about them. Same for 13 Reasons Why.

Black Widow

black widow.jpg

A Side Character that You wished had their own Book

I mean I wish I got a whole series about Harry Potter’s parent when they were at Hogwarts but everyone wants that so. How about Dorian? Because Chaol got a whole book about him so why I get he get one? I love Dorian he’s my favorite! I guess so many people wouldn’t like that because I feel like everyone loves Chaol and I don’t really like him that much.

And that was the Avengers book tag! I tag you guys to do this if you want to! More reviews and other fun things are coming out soon so look out for that! This was worth the wait! | Spiderman: Homecoming review

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m talking about Spiderman: Homecoming which was directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker!

Rating: -A: Good story with characters that got better and a slow plot line

Who else was looking forward for this movie? Because I’ve have been looking forward for a new spiderman movie since Tom Holland appeared in Civil War. I made post talking about everything I was looking forward to and was scared about this film which you can read here and I even put this on things I’m looking forward to this year which you can read here. I was excited for this film but I had a right to be scared because let’s look at the past couple spiderman movies. I made plans with my best friend and we went to the six o’clock showing together and like no one was there which surprised me. Like even the ticket lady was like it, make sure to come early because it’s been a popular choice today.

I can now say that this film was amazing and I loved it! I loved Tom Holland as Peter Parker and I love Ned and I loved Zendaya who had a smaller part then I thought. This film was a Spiderman film. It makes you laugh, you get emotional, and it is so great! Is it my favorite Spiderman movie? No I think Spiderman 2 is my favorite like here are my favorites in order.

  1. Spider-man 2
  2. Spider-man: Homecoming
  3. The Amazing Spider-man
  4. Spider-man
  5. The Amazing Spider-man 2
  6. Spider-man 3

As much as I want to put this as my favorite there were some scenes weren’t as intense. Like the scene where Peter is trying to keep the ship from falling apart that wasn’t that of a intense. It was no stopping a train after Doc Oct blows up the railways and Peter holds it back with all his strength. That scene is tense as hell. This movie didn’t completely lack it though I mean that last fight at the beach with the fire and that other scene that happened before that with Peter under the rocks trying to get out so that he can stop the Vulture. I was like crying because it was like a moments out of the comics and I was like ‘Abby it’s out of the rubble! it’s out of the rubble!’. That scene was such a great scene, that was my favorite scene. Tom was fucking great actor in that scene.

I loved Tom in this movie, he is great spiderman. He is so dorky and nerdy and cute and very time things went wrong I just wanted to hug him! Peter was so precious in this film. I loved it. I also loved the other characters in the story like Ned and Michelle who I guess is the MCU version of MaryJane because at the end of the film she is like my name is MJ so I was right about her being MJ but I was also wrong about her being MJ. I loved these characters they are so great and funny. The scene where Ned finds out that Peter is Spiderman was so funny. The death star just falls on the floor and Peter is like what I’m not spiderman and I’m dude I know you what to keep this secret but you can’t get out of this. You’re wearing the Spiderman outfit, it’s too good to be a cosplay, you were on the ceiling like there is no way to lie about this.

Ned starts asking Peter all these questions at a fast pace like are you an average and Peter is like basically yeah and I’m like oh honey. Aunt May comes in the room and it’s just Peter shirtless in his underwear with Ned and she just doesn’t comment on it which was so weird for me. Like your nephew is in his room in his underwear with his best friend and you just right going to say anything about it. Has this happened before? Or does she not care? I’m just wondering because i think it is weird. The next day Ned is asking him all these questions about his powers and I’m laughing because they are some weird questions but like if you had never heard of spiderman then these are like the types of questions I feel like someone would ask. Ned is a fun character and I had so much watching him and Peter on screen. ‘I’m the guy in the chair’. I love when Peter is in trouble and then it looks like the shocker going kill him, Ned gets the web thing and saves him that was so great.

I also loved Zendaya. She has a smaller part then I expected but I still thought she was great. I mean she just pops up and says some one-liners but it’s great. So like I said before she is the character Michelle, she is not Mary Jane but at the end of the film she like my friends call me MJ and me and friend were Oh oh oh ohhh. I think she will probably Peter’s love interest because before Peter leaves she gives him like this look. If you saw the movie then you know what I’m talking about. I loved Liz Allen. I thought her and Peter were cute. I knew that something was gonna happen and that they weren’t going to get together because I know that they don’t together in the comics and they don’t get together in the film. I don’t know why they had that almost kiss in the trailer because it happen in the film.

I called that her dad was the Vulture. Sort if. I said it like a if what thing. I was like if her dad is the Vulture or works for the Vulture how awkward would that be. Then he gets to her house and the door opens and it’s the vulture and I’m like oh shit oh shit oh shit! That final battle was so epic and great. I loved it.

Okay I loved Tony in this movie. He just wants to be Peter’s dad and protected him and I loved it. He wants what is best for him. Also Tony and Pepper might be getting married that could be happening. When the Iron spider suit appeared, I was like whoa but then I was trying to remember what it called. My friend couldn’t remember either when the film ended, we went to the parking lot and asked her brother what it called. The film ends with Peter putting the suit on and Aunt May seeing him which I thought was so funny. I liked Aunt May and I thought she and Peter had a good relationship. There are a lot of jokes about how young she is. Also Flash I loved how we changed from him from dumbass joke to on the smart team thing that I don’t remember what it’s called with Peter. I mean he is still a dick but I liked him. Tony Revolori did great job and you known that they did a good job when they make you hate their character.

The end credit scenes though was so great! So the mid credit was with the Vulture keeping Peter’s identity secret and the end credit scene. I waited forever for it and then Captain America appears and started talking about being patient and I’m dying!

This movie was amazing and so much fun to watch. If you didn’t see this movie then why haven’t you seen it. Like go see it. I know that we’ve seen a lot of Spiderman films and in the end they have flopped but this one gives me hope that it could work out! IT COULD WORK OUT IN THE END! IT COULD WORK! If you have seen it though then what did you think? Did you love it? I loved it! Did you hate it? I hope you didn’t hate. If you did I’m sorry but I loved it.
