AAAHHHHHH!!!! | Avengers: Infinity War review

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m reviewing Infinity War!

WARNING SPOILERS

BECAUSE I’M NOT HOLDING BACK

I’ve been waiting for the movie for a long time. I was so worried about it and excited to see and I made a whole post about it which you can read here. I wanted to see this the day it came out but I went out of town and then my family wanted to see it all together so we had to wait but I finally saw it and I am so emotional and it was so good! I loved it. It was so good. I have a lot of opinions on it so again if you have not seen you have to leave. If you are like me, you have been spending all your time avoiding spoilers. It was so hard! It was easy at first but then a week past and then suddenly everyone was talking about it without tagging spoilers and it got so hard that I had to get off Tumblr because no where was safe.

So let’s get talking about this movie because I have so many thoughts and no theories! This movie had my shook from the opening scene. I knew that we would probably begin with Thor and we did. Thanos is attacking the ship that was at the end of Ragnarok and Thor is getting beaten up because Thanos wants the tesseract and then Loki as the tesseract and he tries to attack Thanos and all I could think was don’t do this you idiot! Then he did and he died! I thought that he might die but I didn’t think he would die three minutes into the film! I have no clue if Loki is really dead. I don’t want him to be dead because I love him so much and he is just so great! I can’t believe he died in the first fucking minutes!

Everyone was so great in this film and a person that I surprisingly really enjoyed was Doctor Strange. I don’t know why I just really enjoyed him in this film. He was so great and I loved his interactions with Tony. There were so many good jokes and moments and I’d loved it! I also really enjoyed Tony in this movie because in Ultron and Civil War they sort of made him out as a bad guy but this film we got to see him as a good guy again and I loved it! The chemistry between all the characters was amazing and wonderful. I was worried about how they would deal with all of them but I really enjoyed.

Weirdly I didn’t enjoy the Earth scenes that much which I wasn’t expecting. I thought that I would enjoy them with me always loving Cap, Sam, Bucky, and Scarlet Widow together but this time around I don’t know them seemed to just be there and they weren’t really in that story much. That’s weird because in the trailers it seemed as if they were in most of the film but they weren’t really. I loved Cap’s entrance with the training going by and then there he is looking all cool in the shadows. I just love Cap so much. He is always my favorite. A surprise to me was that I really enjoyed Scarlet Witch and Vision. I’ve never really enjoyed them but for some reason I really liked them. I just connected with them and I loved their scenes.

The Guardians in this film were great as normal. I loved when they met Thor and Peter was trying to one up him and it was so funny. Everyone was just so great. When Gamora died, I was just so sad. Before she died, she was giving that big speech about how he loved nothing and I was like ‘Shut up! He is going to kill you!’ and then she died. I loved seeing more of her relationship with Thanos. It was just so interesting to watch and seeing it play out was just so great. You’ve never seen anything about Thanos and what it was like for her and Nebula you have only heard stuff about it and watching it was so interesting. So let’s talk about the ending because what else is there. So the ending has been talked about a lot since this movie can out and I was so scared to see it.

So Thanos is attacking everything and Strange gives him the Time Stone and I was convinced that it was a trick but it wasn’t. He gives him the stone and I was like ‘What the hell man?’ Then he gets the stone from Vision and Thor wounds him and I’m thinking yeah we’re gonna win but then he is still kicking and he snaps his fingers and goes to some hut! Then Bucky disappears and I fucking lost it. I was crying so hard. Then for a second I thought that Okoye was gonna disappear and then it was T’Challa and I was gone! Then Groot disappears and it was released that he said ‘Dad’ and Omg! Then the Guardians disappeared which was not fair and then Strange disappears but he says that it was the only way which what the fuck does that mean. Then Peter disappears and he is just like I don’t want to go and it reminded me of when David Tennett regenerated into 11 and he said that and I was just crying so hard. Tears were going down my neck! It was just so emotional! My sister was like ‘Calm down it’s okay!’ but it wasn’t okay.

And then movie just fucking ends! With our core four still living but half the universe is gone! And what the hell is gonna what happen next? Strange said there was one outcome  were they one and then he fucking gave Thanos the Time stone and before he dies he tells Tony that it was the only way. Is this a plan? It’s not a great plan man. Still pulling that Sherlock Holmes shit and not telling anyone your plan. Another thing that is kind of stupid but I was kind of disappointed that they didn’t make a Sherlock joke because both Benedict Cumberpatch and Robert Downy Jr. have both played Sherlock and I thought it would have been funny. Back to the main point, I don’t know what they are going to next. I know that people are going to live because they have sequels coming out but how the hell are they going to bring them back? So the thing that I’ve thought the most is that they are going to use the time stone to fix things but that would basically make this movie worthless. Time travel is a tricky thing to have in your plot and if you use it to fill your plot hole that’s just not fair.

I was convinced that Iron Man and Cap were gonna make up and then they were gonna die but that didn’t happen so that will probably in the next film. Will they like sacrifice themselves to save the lives of everyone else? A theory that I saw was that their souls are in the soul stone and that’s why when Thanos used it we see baby Gamora because her soul is there. That probably isn’t true but in the comics someone was in the soul stone so it could be a possibility. Honestly Infinity War was a great movie and I think I’m going to give it an -A. I would love to an +A but unfortunately I didn’t like the ending. I’ve never been a fan of open endings and I wasn’t not a fan of this one. I hope that there was a plan for this ending and it wasn’t just for shock value and that they don’t completely erase it. This film is funny and heartbreaking and a step up from Ultron.

That was my thoughts on Infinity War. I’m so ready for Avengers 4 because I need answers and I can’t wait to see Captain Marvel rock it. I’m ready for my girl! The Last Summer of the Garrett Girls by Jessica Spotswood review!

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m reviewing The Last Summer of the Garrett Girls by Jessica Spotswood!

summer-port

-B: Could has better and was too slow and only got good at the end

I got this book from Netgalley and this book comes out on June 5, 2018. This book follows four sisters who are trying to get through the summer and it has been described as Gilmore Girls meets Little Woman. I wasn’t excited to read this but I was interested in reading because it sounded cute and I only have sisters so whenever I watch or read something about siblings I just love it so I decided to request this book. I honestly won’t say that I loved this book but that I loved some of the moments in this book.

I really enjoyed the first part of this book but then the second part of this book wasn’t great. I thought that there would be more sister bonding and it was more like sisters and their love interests. They did have some good moments but I felt like they were more towards the end. I think that Des was my favorite. I don’t know I felt like with her story I was more present in that one. I did enjoy the other girls but I don’t know I just couldn’t connect with them that much. This book is like a Sarah Dessen book and I don’t know I can’t ever connect to the story with her books. They are written the same way and I couldn’t really connect with the characters. I felt like I barely knew them and their grandmother which sucked because I really wanted to.

I did like how diverse the story is. One of the love interests was bisexual and one of the girls is into other girls. I wish that thing with Paige had worked better because I liked her and her relationship with Des. I didn’t enjoy Bea’s storyline that much. I don’t know she reminded me of Rory with Jess and I just couldn’t get into. I do like the scene at the end where the girls all talk to the other and it was a really nice scene. This is a great summer read and it has some good messages in it. If you like Sarah Dessen and Gilmore Girls then I recommend that you read it.

Have you guys read this book? If you have what did you think? Did you like it? I hope you guys liked because I thought it was great. I hope you enjoyed this post and make sure to look out for more coming your way soon. You should follow my book club here and other social media links. The Last of August by Brittany Cavallaro review!

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m reviewing the Last of August by Brittany Cavallaro!

y648

+ A: Perfect story with get characters and fantastic plot line.

“I tended to spend too much time with my favorite things, loved them too hard until I wore them down. After a while, they became more like a shorthand for who I was and less like things I actually enjoyed.”

I have a review for the first book which you can read here. If you have read my review for the first book or you follow me on twitter then you probably saw that I was so excited for this book and that all I have done is think about the characters and the story because I love it so much. It came in the mail yesterday *i’m writing this on saturday the 17 of 2018 and I was excited. I tried not to read it because it was 12 and I would go be go for the rest of the day and wouldn’t be back until later. But I have no self control so I read this book and oh my god!! There is only one word to describe this book is shook. I have never had a book made me feel this shook since Lord of Shadows! Every page I felt like I was going to cry. So much stuff happens in this book and it’s crazy.

This book takes off a couple weeks after the first book ended with Jamie and Charlotte meeting up and hanging out after winter break. When I finished the first book I was so hoping that when this book started off we would get these fun and cute moments between Charlotte and Jamie and then all the drama would start but boy! That was not the case! We start the story and they are already fighting. So Jamie and Charlotte are spending time together in his house in London and we are told that all these cute and wonderful moments happen between them and then they are talking he tries to kiss her and but then things get awkward! When Charlotte said that she wanted to talk to him but she knew that they would fight so she decided not to say anything I break me because they love each other so much. This whole book I was waiting for them to kiss because they so wanted to but everything with August and everything else things were crazy. When they finally kissed and Charlotte asked him if thats what he wanted and they started fighting and then he told her to leave. Then she went out and used drugs and I was so upset because I just care about them so much.

After the thing with Jamie and he is in the hospital and they do stuff and she says that she just wanted to do something before he hated her it just broke me. The whole thing with her family just reminded me that they all need to go to group therapy. They don’t treat their daughter right at all and it sucks. They kept all this stuff from her so shit happened and AHHHH! We finally met Leandar but he isn’t around a lot because he goes missing and doesn’t appear until the end of the book. He carefully does care about Charlotte and he treats Jamie so nicely. I think that his part will grow as the books go along. Milo is in this book a lot more and like with the first book even though they don’t say it he and Charlotte really do care about each other in their own weird way. But with the end and he kills August! I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT! He shot August! He thought that he was his brother and he shot him! And then tells Charlotte that it’s her mess. THEN THE BOOK FUCKING ENDS!

I said it in my review for the first book I don’t trust August and through out this book I still didn’t trust. He was going do something shady and I wasn’t gonna let him hurt my children. Then when I finally allowed myself to like him HE DIED! I was upset! It was Aaron from the Silver Mask all over again. August is a good character like everyone else morally grey and maybe should get some medical help. I do have an issue with this book and it’s the same with the first book which is the fighting between Jamie and Charlotte. Their fights are repetitive and they never talk because every time they tried to talk things don’t go well. But if they never talk their relationship will become hella toxic and I don’t want that. Another thing is where this book is going with Charlotte and her mental health and drug abuse. She needs help and Jamie knows this as he has tried to tell her she does through out the book. I’m scared that this book will go down the Love can heal Mental Health and that’s just a trope I can’t see past. I’m scared that she will just be like I just have Jamie and I’m fine. I hope that their relationship can give her a reason to go and get help. I haven’t read a Case For Jamie and I’m scared because I’ve read the sample pages and I’m scared about what the hell is going to happen because they aren’t talking.

For Question for Holmes I’ve come up with an ending that could work and what the question could. I think that a possible ending is Jamie and Charlotte fake their deaths like Sherlock Holmes but they do it together and then Milo takes them into hiding and it’s like the Mockingjay ending where they adjust to their lives together but then one day they are like ‘hey let’s get together’ and they get live happily ever after. After then that I think could happen which doesn’t have to go with that weird theory but basically the A Question for Holmes we get like a flash forward to an older Jamie and Charlotte and they are together and happy and the question is Charlotte will you marry me and then she says yes and it relates to the first books ending with like ‘He always says yes’ but now it’s with Charlotte. Let me know if you think I should write this fanfiction. I’ll do it don’t think i won’t!

So in short this book messed me up and I love it so much this has honestly become one of my favorite series. I love it so much. I will totally be reading Case for Jamie whenever I can because my love is too great! These characters are just so amazing and wonderful and they all have problems and I hope that they get help and a happy ending. Have you guys read this book? If you have what did you think? Did you like it? I hope you guys liked because I thought it was great. I hope you enjoyed this post and make sure to look out for more coming your way soon. I like my next post is a Miraculous post because its been a while since I’ve done one of those. You should follow my book club here and other social media links. The Silver Mask by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare Review!

Greetings Earthling! Today I’m reviewing the Silver Mask by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare which is book four in the Magisterium series!

The_Silver_Mask_cover.png

-A: Good story with characters that got better and a slow plot line

If you have read the first couple Book I read this month most then you know that I’ve been reading this series for a whole. This book came at sometime in fall of 2017 and I was on hold for it for a while and now months later I finally got to read it and I loved it! This is probably my favorite book in the whole series which really surprised. I thought it would just be another book in the series and I wouldn’t like it as much because Aaron was killed off in the last book. But I really liked it! I read this book on the way to airport which was a two hour drive and I finished it before the drive was even over.

I loved the characters and story. I wanted this book to be longer and it’s same sizes as the other books! It just wanted it to last forever. I can’t believe that this series has one more book it in because I love it. So basically the book starts with Call in prison and him dealing with it. He gets out with the help of Jasper who I grew to love with this book. I mean I feel like with every book I learn to love Jasper a little. In this first book I didn’t like him, the second book I liked him a little more, the third book I liked him a little more, and in this book I had never loved him. His and Call’s relationship was great. He is just talking about his love life and Call is just like shut up.

Tamara and Call begin a relationship which I was just like what the hell? I mean I wasn’t against it just came out of nowhere. I mean I don’t know what I could say about. It was like Cho and Harry’s relationship in Order of Phoenix. I think that they are both going through stuff and they needed someone. It also was out of the blue because I just didn’t see them as a couple and suddenly they were kissing and say hey you’re my girlfriend and you’re my boyfriend. It was all so fast. So if you didn’t read one of my books I read this month I talked about how something happened in the last book and I was very upset by it. My favorite character in these books was Aaron and in the last book he was killed off against my will and it broke me! IT BROKE ME!

So basically I was wondering what would happen next and you know whenever a character you love dies you wish that they would come back from the dead and GUESS WHO DID!!! YEP! Aaron came back and I was so happy but unfortunately I have seen this before. When characters are brought back from the died you know that they are going to pull some shit that breaks your heart again so while Aaron was alive I was waiting for something to happen because i knew something was going to happen. So I spent the whole book waiting for something to happen and then I reached the end of the book and I thought maybe I was just crazy to think that something was going to happen and then something fucking happened! I was like less then twenty pages from finishing the book and for some reason I thought it would be fine but clearly I thought that the last ten pages of Lord of Shadows was a blood bath! So my favorite character died again.

I really loved The Silver Mask! It’s my favorite in the series. There was so much in the story and the characters were amazing. I can’t wait for the final book. Have you guys read this book? If you have what did you think? Did you like it? I hope you guys liked because I thought it was great. I hope you enjoyed this post and make sure to look out for more coming your way soon. Books I Read This Month! | January 2018

Hello and welcome to books I read this month! January / 2018 new year edition!!! SO I didn’t do one for December because I only read like three books. In case you guys are wondering I read 242 books in the year of 2017 which is amazing! January is always that time of the year where I read the most books because I read one like every day until I give up. I did re read a lot of books this month because I didn’t feel like starting anything new this month.  Let’s get started!

Zenith by Sasha Alsberg and Lindsay Cummings

31394234

+B: Had a weird pace and took me a while to like the characters.

This is my second time reading this book and I have an official review coming soon so look out for that. I got a copy of this book at ALA after waiting an a line more then thirty minutes but it was worth because I’ve been wanting this book for a while now and I got it! I read this book the first time when I was in a book slump and even though I still enjoyed it I wasn’t able to place myself completely into the book. I told myself that when the release date got closer and I read it and I loved it a lot more my second time around. I’m not going to say a lot because I have a review for it here and I want people to read that. But I loved it and if you are looking for something to read I would recommend this book.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan

-A: Good story with characters that got better and a slow plot line

This was also I re read. I basically re read a lot of books this month because I want to read every single book on my book shelve and this was the first book on my shelf. I didn’t like this book as much as I did the first time but I still loved it. It’s just a fun story to read and I still enjoyed.

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

91Dz0CVeJyL.jpg

-B: Could has better and was too slow and only got good at the end

I did a review for this book last year which you can read here. If you guys don’t know who emmmabooks is, she is a booktuber who this year is hosting a read along for Shadowhunter books all the way to the release of Queen of Air and Darkness. The first book was City of Bones so I read it and it’s also Epic Adaptations January book of the month so my review for the movie will be coming soon.

Because You Love To Hate Me by Lots of People

bylthm_covcomp19_ver25b15d.jpg

+ A: Perfect story with get characters and fantastic plot line.

I got this book on sale and man I loved it! This is my favorite anthology. I don’t usually like them because I only like a couple of the stories but for this story they were all great and wonderful and super dark. Also the booktuber stuff was amazing. I think my favorite one was Christine’s because it was so funny. I did like Sasha’s and Jesse’s and they were all so good! You guys should read this book because it’s great. All the villain’s story are just great.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling

hpsorcstone

+ A: Perfect story with get characters and fantastic plot line.

Um.. I love this book. It always brings me nostalgia. I don’t know what else I can say. I love Harry Potter.

The Silver Mask by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare

The_Silver_Mask_cover

+ A: Perfect story with get characters and fantastic plot line.

I’ve talked about these books in the past and they’ve always been okay but this one let me tell you! I wasn’t expecting to love this book but I did! I’m going to make a whole review which is coming out soon. Basically the characters were amazing and I flew through this book and it broke me!! I can’t wait for the last book because it’s gonna be good!

Passenger by Alexandra Bracken

25326840

D: Nothing seem to happen. The characters had a bad attitude or were boring until the end. Story didn’t know what it wanted.

I wanted to like this book because everyone has been talking about this duology for awhile but I wasn’t entertained and it was boring and none of the characters were great. I wanted to like though maybe that was problem. I have no clue where I should read book two but I don’t want to.

Chasing Red by Isabelle Ronin

chasing-red-isabelle-ronin

D: Nothing seem to happen. The characters had a bad attitude or were boring until the end. Story didn’t know what it wanted.

Pros about the book:
• Veronica is an good lead (probably one of the better ones on romance books. meaning she has a brain and doesn’t someone to tell her what to do)
• Caleb isn’t a terrible person (I’m mean he has his moments when he should shut up)
• their relationship is okay (not completely unhealthy but there a lack of trust on Veronica’s side that leads to the down fall of their relationship)
• it has funny moments (but has the book goes on it stops being funny)

Cons:
• it’s really boring. this book is 397 pages and nothing really happens until your 90% Into the book and it’s still not that great.
• you can predicted everything that happens. some parts are original but not a lot
• Kara (the sassy best friend chapter who is getting her own book) isn’t funny. a lot of things she says are weird and not in a funny way like an awkward tempted to be funny.
•the relationship is very fast like they haven’t known each other for very long and suddenly their in love and they live together
•girl hate. enough said
•there is no plot for this book unless you call Veronica and Caleb being ridiculous plot. there is plot in the first 20 pages and last 20 pages and that’s it
•look I’ve read better if you like romance you’ll like this

I might do a whole review because I have a lot of feelings on it but I feel like this explains how I feel best.

If I was Your Girl by Meredith Russo

if-I-was-your-girl.jpg

+ A: Perfect story with get characters and fantastic plot line.

I have no words. This book was amazing. It follows Amanda who is transgender and she is keeping this a secret and she mets this guy but she doesn’t tell him how she is. This book was so great and I would recommend it to everyone. It’s an own voice novel which means the author is also transgender. I just loved this book so much. I will do a full review later but this might be one of my favorite books.

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

9781595148032

+C: A work in progress. Okay writing, not so great characters and story line but pulled through and was readable.

I enjoyed this book. I do think that it was overhyped for me and I did struggle a little but once I got into it I really enjoyed it. I will be reading the second book soon so look forward to that next month. I really liked Laia’s point of view more then Elias’. I don’t know why I just did. I really shipped them a lot  and I hope they get together.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon

41bz6juMwiL

-C: Was expecting more than I got. Characters didn’t get any development until halfway.

This book was interesting and I liked the way it was written. The story was fine. I kind of wish more had happened.

Cure for the Common Universe by Christian McKay Heidicklet

23656453

+B: Had a weird pace and took me a while to like the characters.

It started as fun, quirky book but as it went on it became awkward and boring. The amount of video game jokes just about kill me and that he was sent to video game rehab makes me laugh so hard.

Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab

u34+1F!EVWH7ngw7NLVXIcKIKW2pmYA+Gl!w8rbMsYH!BRIAG5OUet9tcq9F2XjffXkZsjELHH1dotzfe59Az8458JDs9D0t2hphI9KAc!+WsW1OYzkgsRAdZgmVYczu.png

-A: Good story with characters that got better and a slow plot line

That ending!!! What!!! What!!! Oh my god I didn’t expect that to happen. This book is amazing! I want more! I loved the first book and this book was just as great and I should probably read more books by this author.

Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella

9780553536515

-A: Good story with characters that got better and a slow plot line

I liked this book about the same as I did the first. It is a really fun book and I love the stuff with her mom and her brother. This book deals will with social anxiety as from what I’ve read social anxiety is you have a hard time going outside and making contact with others (i’m not a professorial) and I think that it did a good job (again I’m not a professorial). The relationship with Linus and Audrey is cute. I’m not like in love with them as a couple they’re cute but I wasn’t into it. I loved the family stuff more. It still bothers me that you never figure out what happen in the past.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

image

+ A: Perfect story with get characters and fantastic plot line.

This story was incredibly cute and I loved the characters! I related to Cath so much and Levi is the best fictional boyfriend ever! This was a reread and I loved it more the second times then I did the first time. It’s just such a fun read.

Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfield

61gxs4axKhL._SL1109_

-C: Was expecting more than I got. Characters didn’t get any development until halfway.

I mainly wanted to read this book because I love the movie. It’s one of my favorites and I was really excited to read the book but I was disappointed a little. I mean the book is still really cute and it’s enjoyable and I had a good time but I was expecting more I guess. I still love the movie. The movie is really good. I would recommend you guys watch the movie.

Paris for One and Other Short Stories by Jojo Moyes

thumb

D: Nothing seem to happen. The characters had a bad attitude or were boring until the end. Story didn’t know what it wanted.

It’s an okay book. I mean I mainly just wanted to the story about Paris and I tried reading the other stories and they weren’t great. Look this book is cute and I didn’t expect it to be great or anything and it wasn’t.

So I heard like 24 books in the month of January but because I read so many and I didn’t have a lot opinions on them I didn’t put them on here. I might take only talk about the book I have big opinions on for the next couple months. For this month I either loved so books or I didn’t like them. I hope you enjoyed this review *many reviews and make sure to look out for more coming your way. You should follow my book club here and other social media links. Star Wars: The Last Jedi Review!

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m reviewing Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the eighth movie in the Star Wars franchise!

star-wars-the-last-jedi-credit-disney-lucasfilm

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD

IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE MOVIE LEAVE

THEN GO WATCH IT AND THEN COME BACK

I’M BEING COMPLETELY SERIOUS

YOU’VE BEEN WARNED
also little spoilers about the movies before this one

I was going to start this review with this is the movie we’ve all been waiting for but I don’t really think that’s true because the Force Awakens was the movie we were all waiting for and plus I feel like I’ve started thirty different reviews that way. This was a movie that we were all looking forwarded to because it’s fucking Star Wars. I love Star Wars, honestly it’s probably my favorite franchise and I also love that I’m live during the time when the next generation of films are coming out. I mean I was probably a live when the prequels came out but who gives a shit about the prequels? I saw the Force Awakens in 2015 and I loved it but I did have some issues with it as it’s lack of plot and the fact that there’s another fucking Death Star. I didn’t review because by the time I saw it, people had already said everything that had been said about it and then Rogue One came out which had one of the coolest endings ever! Again I didn’t write a review because I didn’t really want to.

But today *December 17 of 2017 I watched the Last Jedi, the movie that I have had so much anxiety about ever since they announced the title. I mean seriously if you didn’t see the announcement about this film being called the Last Jedi and didn’t get anxiety of what the hell was going to happen to Luke then you are most likely heartless or just didn’t care. This is called the everyone while is normal when it comes to emotions while Grace only ever cries method. But basically there was never once a second when I wasn’t scared for Luke leading but then the release date got closer and I got scared about the whole movie in general as some people really loved it and then some people hated it and then some thought it was fine. After seeing this movie, I can’t understand why people would hate this movie as it has some of the best Star Wars scenes in the whole Franchise. That doesn’t mean that this movie doesn’t come without it’s flaws.

Unlike the Force Awakens where I literally didn’t leave me sit because I was enjoying the film so much with this film there are so spots where you wonder why they are there and it makes you want to leave because you could care about anything else. The parts involving Rey and Luke as she tries to get him to help the Resistance and help her try to figure out what is happening with the force are so of the best parts of this film. Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley are amazing in this film and the scenes they are great. Some another scenes that I love and didn’t expect to love were the scenes with Kylo Ren and Rey. As they are bonded together in way that they can communicate and those scenes are amazingly acted and amazingly shot. I didn’t like I was going to like them because I thought they were going to be these cliche scenes but they weren’t. I loved how they looked and I loved the sounds happening as they talked. It was just so cool!

That’s another plus about this movie is that it is wonderfully shot. There is one scene where Laura Dern turns the ship around and slams in it the enemy ship and the way it is shot and shown is wonderful. There is no sound and honestly it’s so amazing. I never knew how much one silent scene of ship crushing into another would be so beautiful to see. The last part of this film was honestly an anxiety attack. Like the first part was okay like I said I only really liked Rey and Luke scenes, the other ones weren’t the best. But the last part was anxiety because things just kept getting worse and worse and I didn’t think things were going to get better for them and I was freaking out but they did. The resistance run away to a place where the rebels hid and the Empire gets there and they try to fight and after lots of stuff happens which I will get into later, Luke just shows up and they try to shoot him down and for a second you think well I thought he was died and i got so mad thinking that was the way he was going to kill him but then it’s shown that Luke is still alive and he just brushes his shoulder like all of that was nothing.

He and Kylo face off and it is amazing like it’s lightsaber off and like a verbal comebacks and  it’s so great! When then learn that Luke wasn’t really there and that he was on the island where Rey found him. Luke does pass away and even though it broke my heart I love how they came full circle with him as the scene with his death as he looking at the two suns and the same music is playing and I’m tearing up just thinking about it. It was so good! Luke is one of the best parts of this film. Carrie Fisher is also amazing even though she is a coma for a good part of this film but she comes back and she’s great. I’m worried about what will happen for the next movie because Luke is dead, Han is dead, and they planned on Leia having a big role in the next one but Carrie Fisher as passed away so I’m scared about what might happen for the next one.

I didn’t like how they treated Finn in this film. Like he is still a great character and John does a great job playing him but his storyline isn’t great. He and a new character Rose, who is the cutest thing by the way I loved her and felt like she could have had a better story as well, go on a mission to find a codebreak who can break them into enemy ship who is following them and I didn’t like this storyline. I didn’t like how they sort of forced Finn and Rose into a relationship and that kiss just wasn’t timed well. They just took to great characters and placed them in a storyline that didn’t really work well. They should have had a better story. I also didn’t like how they pulled Yoda out again! Guys! How many times do we have to do this! Stop bring Yoda into everything! I get that we used him to get Luke to help others and bring him back but there could have been another way we could have done this. And I knew they were going to do it too! Like Luke is walking to get the books but then they do this shot as if someone is watching him and there he was and AHHH! Laura Dern’s character is one that I forget was in the film and then when she appeared in it I was like oh she’s here. I liked her character she was fine but the scene where she saves everyone is pretty great.

Honestly this film is really great it’s not my favorite Star Wars movie but it’s not my least favorite. Remember the prequels? It’s okay neither do I. For a Star Wars film it has some best moments in the whole franchise. I think you will enjoy and if you don’t then I’m sorry. I’m going to give Star Wars: The Last Jedi a B+

Rating: B+

I really enjoyed this film and I love Star Wars so it was great. I am scared that people will hate on this film for all the wrong reasons which I don’t want. I have a lot of new reviews coming for you soon such as Stranger Things Season Two and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season one and Zenith. Maldene Volume One by Mark Anthony Tierno review!

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m reviewing Maldene Volume One by Mark Anthony Tierno, the first Volume in the Maldene series!

WARNING SPOILERS

Maldene #1

-A: Good story with characters that got better and a slow plot line

I like to start this review off by thanking Mark Anthony Tierno for sending a copy of this book and a copy of book two which I hope to get around to reading soon! I would also like to apologize that it took like a million years for my review to come out but here it is! It took long because one this book is super long which I’ll talk about later and two secondly very time I tried to read it life suddenly got super crazy! But I really enjoyed this book and I’m glad that I got to read it even though it took me while.

So this is a high fantasy novel which has two books in it and it’s huge which I loved because big books are great! I went and I read the summary and I was a little confused but thing about fantasy books is that it’s so hard to talk about and the summaries for them never really make sense. Like Wheel of Time when I first started that and I knew nothing about it which was best because the world couldn’t be explained with a summary and I got to see the world and story unfold. I was really excited to get into this book and what I wanted I really interesting story in a creative world with creative characters. This book is basically The Hobbit mets the Odyssey and I say that because it’s an adventurous story that follows a group of people with magic and a lot of cool stuff. I really enjoyed this book.

There are some moments were it’s more the Odyssey then the Hobbit like in the beginning when they crash on the island and the woman and they give food and shelter I was think don’t trust them because this like that thing in the Odyssey and they are going to kill you. I was getting like super old time adventure fantasy story vides which I really liked because now a days fantasy kind of feels like who can we murder and how much sex and blood can we add.  This book is a lot of fun. Sometimes it feels more like the Hobbit even the story telling is like the Lord of Rings. I liked Lord of Rings but my one problem with that series that it can be slow at sometimes and the same with this book. Some moments it can be really slow but luckily it can pick up quicker then Lord of Rings.

The characters in this book are also a lot of fun and they are really funny. I enjoyed having them all as characters because sometimes with Fantasy books you don’t love all the characters that you have to follow a long and that happens a lot but I liked these characters. They were funny and enjoyable. I really liked Eldar. He was introduced in the beginning of the story and I don’t know why but I just started liking him because he is a really enjoyable characters. Another thing I like about this book was the magic element of it. It was interesting how the magic works in the world. I loved how each character was different in a way and there is just so make about this world that is so interesting and creative.

This book is just fun and adventurous and you’ll have a great time reading it! If you enjoy fantasy books with great characters then I recommend this book. Again thank you Mark from sending me this book. I can’t wait to get into the second book. I hope you enjoyed this review and make sure to look out for more coming your way. Life is Strange: Episode Three | Gameplay

Greetings Earthlings! And welcome to GamePlay!!!! *explosion! …. everything is cooler in my mind Today we are doing Life is Strange: Episode Three!

maxresdefault

I have done a gameplay of Episode One and I have a Gameplay for Episode Two so check those out if you want. I finished this on Halloween because you know I have no life and I started and complete it and the way this one end!!!!! Holy Crap! I mean I knew something bad would happen because when it comes to time travel and changing the past there are always negative. Before we get to that through let’s start from the beginning. We began with it being dark outside and Max wakes up. We walk through the hallways and someone shouted Max and I didn’t do anything about it. I just continued walking. Probably in the next episode it will somehow come into play and fuck everything up because that’s just how things work for me. We met with Chloe outside the school and the Victoria bitch is talking mean stuff about Max and she is really getting on my nerves! I TRIED TO BE NICE IN THAT FIRST EPISODE BUT THIS BITCH DOESN’T KNOW WHAT BEING NICE IS! If someone throw a trash garage worth of nicest at her she wouldn’t even know!

Also I only missed like two pictures this time, usually I miss like five or most of them because I’m at bad this game. We go into the school and try to break into the principle’s office and Max just decides that she should get some explosives and blow up the door! Because that’s an idea. It took me about million rewinds to figure what to do next because the door was on fire and the alarms are going off and I had no clue what to do next. I went to the door but it wouldn’t open. About five minutes and a million tries later, I finally realized that I was at the wrong door and that’s why it wouldn’t open.

Facepalm.gif

Yep. Sometimes I wonder why I failed Until Dawn then I remember all the mistakes I’ve made in games and it’s like a slap in the face. I got like a million files on characters which took longer then it should have. Chloe finds money and I said that we shouldn’t take some the money because stealing is wrong people! Again it will probably come into play later and fuck me over LIKE EVERYTHING DOES. We decide to go to the pool because when being rebellious you have to break into the pool it’s like a rule. They talk for a while it was super cute and sweet but then we got interrupted be the stupid cops ruining the nice moment they were having. We have to hide from them and again I had a much harder time doing this then I probably should have. I kept getting caught by the guard and it was so annoying. After that we went to Chloe’s house and they talked for while which was nice and I kissed Chloe. That should be something that will be an affect in the future but hopefully for the better.

Max puts on Rachel’s clothes which everyone loses their shit over. Like every person I talked to was like you look like Rachel and why are you such a wannabe and I was like shut up! One of the tasks I had was trying to steal this creepy guys name Frank’s key so I could get into his car and it was really annoying. I didn’t know what to do. I had to talk to Frank and then that other annoying kid who had the gun at Chloe in the first episode which I can’t remember his name and some cop. It took forever! When I finally got the keys after stealing them from Frank and we stuck into the car. I told some lady about the future because why not? It’s going to happen and she needs to be prepared!!!!! We discover so interesting stuff about Rachel which makes Max and Chloe fight which was no surprised I knew it was coming, They had to fight at some point in time. What I didn’t see coming was the end!

SO Max has this picture of her and Chloe when they were younger and then suddenly she is taken back in time to the day Chloe’s dad died. Suddenly Max is like I can save him and I’m like girl this is dumb! Haven’t you ever seen Doctor Who? Do you know what can happen when you do stuff like this? But she does it any way. Then we come back to present day time and Max is friends with Victoria that bitch and Warren is dating someone else. Then we go to Chloe’s house and her dad is alive but she is a wheelchair!!! I said that time travel has consequences but no one listens to me when I scream at the screen!

I enjoyed this episode I think the ending was my favorite part as this episode was really nothing but moments and getting to be with the characters more. Even though I suck at action but it’s  a lot of fun. I’m interested to see what happens next because it seems like it is going to be crazy! Turtles All the Way Down by John Green Review!

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m reviewing Turtles All the Way Down by John Green!

WARNING SPOILERS

turtles-all-the-way-down-hd-cover-john-green

+ A: Perfect story with get characters and fantastic plot line.

“The thing about a spiral is, if you follow it inward, it never actually ends. It just keeps tightening, infinitely.”

I was really excited for this book when it was announced even though I had no clue what it was about. I’m a fan of John Green which is really a shocking statement, I really almost any reader would tell you the same, and the last book I read by him was like in 2013 *i was late to the train okay so when a new book was announced I was really excited. As the days got closer and closer to the release date and we got a cover and other things announced, I decided that I would avoid as much information about this book until I had it in my hands. Because I knew that if I read all information and new every single thing then I would ruin this book for me before I even stepped into the bookstore to get. So I made sure I knew nothing about the book. Literally. The only things I knew about this book was that it was called ‘Turtles All the Way Down’, it was written by John Green, and it follows a girl with OCD. That’s it. I didn’t even know her name until I got the book and read the summary.

I’m glad I did this though because I have a very big history of overhyping books and then my angry and disappointed when I read them *Divergent, Six of Crows, Ember in the Ashes, etc. It’s a problem and one that I wasn’t going to let stop me from enjoying this book. This worked really as because I knew nothing about the story so with everything that happened I was surprised and I ended up really enjoying this book. Aza was a really great character to read about and the story was written so well and thought spirals were really retable. It was so interesting watching them just be written and unfold into something and then I was reading it was like my mind spirals had things just happen. It was really retable. When Aza is thinking about C.Diff and how she thinks she has it I’ve like been through that before. I’ve gotten better with this because I’ve stopped looking at diseases online and I don’t take classes anymore that involve watching videos of about diseases but when I did look stuff up online and be in classes that involved watching videos about diseases, I believed that would somehow have them even though some of them you could only get from countries I had never been to or involved doing things that I had never done.

I liked Davis he was a good character. That’s the thing with John Green books I seem to not hate any of the characters because to me it seems that they aren’t perfect but they aren’t completely flawed and unlikeable. It’s nice though. I like that about his book. I was expecting his dad to be dead. Someone said they hoped he would be live but after Paper Towns I just kind of figured we would get an ending close to that. I mean I still enjoyed the book and I came close to crying at some many parts. That scene where her and Davis kiss and then she goes and swallows hand sanitizer I was like gagging because how could she not freak out about swallowing hand sanitizer because that would be something that I would freak out about. That scene where she reads her friend’s Star Wars fanfic and she realizes that there is a character that is close to her. Her and friend  get into that fight and I was so scared. And then she had to go to the hospital and it was so emotional!

We get to like 200 something pages before Turtles are even mention and it’s the title is mention and it turns out Turtles All the Way Down is a real thing which makes me feel dumb for not knowing that so don’t judge me. This book was great. It was more heart felt and amazing and it deals with this topic so well which I loved because a lot of the books that I read don’t deal with these topics in the right way with romanticizing them and this book doesn’t do that which I was so great for. This might be my favorite John Green book, I loved Looking for Alaska but there is something about this book that I love and I can’t let go of. Weirdly when I finished the book, I didn’t know how to feel about it but then like five minutes later, I was laying in bed and suddenly I started thinking about this book and I realized that it’s such a good book. It’s one of my favorite books of the year and if you love John Green books then pick up Turtles All the Way. You’ll love it.
