Top 10 Favorite TV Shows! | 2018 Winter Edition

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m doing top 10 favorite TV shows of winter 2018! I did some for last year so remember to check those out. I didn’t watch that many shows is time around. I rewatched two shows and they are still on this list because I need something to added on to this list. Let’s began!

But first some honorable mentions!

The Runaways

I like this show. I’m not in love with it. I mean not get me wrong it’s a show that you can enjoy and I see why everyone is likes it but I don’t love as much as the rest of world. I did read the comics for awhile and I kinda feel the same about them like how I do about this show. It’s entertaining and it’s enjoyable and you’ll have fun with it.

Parks and Rec

This was a rewatch. I rewatched it because I didn’t have any new shows to watch so my sister and I just watched. I love this show. It’s soo good! I miss it so much! If you haven’t watched this how then I highly recommended it.

#10 Ouran High School Host Club

This show is so random and so weird. This is an anime about a club at a school and oh my god! Just thinking about it is like making me laugh. Look it’s kind of stupid and 100% ridiculous but I’m having a good time watching it. I don’t know what I can say without giving spoilers.

#9 Miraculous Ladybug

So I’m rewatching Miraculous because there is a chance that season two is being pushed back again! I know I shouldn’t be upset because you know they need to get things done and I don’t want to things to be rushed. I still love season one but there is only so many times that you can rewatch season one. I also started a Miraculous fanfic so I just wanted to watch it. I have also watched a bit of season two. Not a lot but as much as I can. I’m still watching when it comes out in America because I will most likely rewatch it about twenty different times.

#8 Trollhunters

I started watching this show because my sister was watching and I was like this could be good and it is. I’m still on season one and like I can see where things are going and I’m kind of scared to watch it’s downward spiral. Like things are getting dark. Fast. I like can’t have a Gravity Falls 2.0 because do you know how many tears were shed over Gravity Falls? This was created by the guy who directed Shape of Water by the way which is like a very popular movie by the way. Hopefully I’ll get back to this show soon because it is very good and I do love it.

#7 Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

I have a whole review coming for this show which may be out already. This show was created by the same people who made Gilmore Girls It’s about a female comedian in the 50s and it’s so good and super funny. Some of the episodes can be super sad at super points but I still love it. I’m excited to see where the next season is going. I hate Joel he is the worst.

#6 Cheers

I started watching Cheers because it was on Netflix and I did something new to watch because I was tired of rewatching Parks and Rec. It’s a very good show and I understand how it was popular in it’s time. I think I like the earlier seasons more then the later seasons as they became copy and paste. It is funny and enjoyable. I do think that some of the jokes won’t have pasted over now days as there is a lot of slut shaming and the way that woman are treated is a little wrong but it’s still a good show.

 #5 ER

I don’t know if I can make it through all of this show as there are 15 seasons and each of the episodes are an hour long and each season as like 22. Also I’ve been told that it gets really dramatic and most of the cast leaves. I really like the cast of the first season so I don’t think that I will continue after they leave. But I’m really enjoying so far and it’s so good! It’s on Hulu and my mom and I are watching it together.

#4 Fraiser

The spin off to Cheers which I’m really enjoy because the characters are so salty and savage it’s just so great. I wouldn’t say you would have to watch Cheers to watch this show but you may be confused about somethings. It’s still really funny and I want Niles and Daphne to get together!

#3 Galavant

#2 The Crown

Damn this season was great. There were so many great episodes and so many of the many you feel different things. I recommend this show to everyone because it is so amazing and wonderful and heartbreaking.

#1 This is Us

This show fucking broke me! Do you know how many times I’ve cried watching these episodes???? Too many time!!!! I love this show with all my heart and it is amazing!

And that is my favorite shows of Winter 2018! Do you guys agree with what I’ve said? Have you guys watched any of these shows? If not you really should. Top 10 Least Favorite Books of 2017

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m going my least favorite books of 2017! I did one for last year which you can check out here. Remember these are my opinions and no one else and everyone in the world has different opinions. Like I said in my favorites list, I read over 200 books and I liked some, I love some, and I hate some and today we are talking about the ones I hated. Let’s get started!

#10 You Were Here by Cori McCarthy

This book wasn’t the worse but honestly I expected better and I was really disappointed in it. I only liked one character and he didn’t even talk the whole book. The story wasn’t really interesting and I was kinda of bored the whole time. The characters weren’t that great and I knew that they were going through some had times but still. One thing that I did like about this book was the fact that it had pictures in it which is something you don’t see a lot.

#9 Insurgent by Veronica Roth

We all know that I think Divergent is overhyped but I thought the first book was okay and I thought Carve of the Mark was okay so I thought maybe I should read this book and maybe I like it…… I didn’t like. Tris is probably one of the worse heroines I’ve ever read and when I say heroine I mean a lead girl who doesn’t sit around and just cry and doesn’t speak for herself *you know who i’m talking about. While Tris does make her own choices she manages to make stupid decisions while annoying the shit out of me. Despite all of Tris’ flaws, the book still isn’t interesting in my opinion it honestly just feels like the first book just with some new faces and something different to chase after. I probably won’t read the final book as I already know what happens in the end and I don’t want to sit through another book.

#8 Much Ado About Nothing by Shakespeare

I know that Shakespeare is very popular and his story are very well liked but I don’t really like any of them. The characters in this story are idiots and really annoying and they don’t seem to have minds of their own as very time a person tells them something they believe it without a doubt even if that person is a known liar. Maybe in the times it was written everyone would it funny and enjoyable but in modern times I don’t like this story and I had to read it twice.

#7 Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

*there was original something else here but I like that book now so here is hopeless

I’m sorry what the hell Colleen hoover? What was this book? I couldn’t even finish it. This book is boring and terrible and there is nothing I like about this book. It’s just so bad.

#6 Children of Eden by Joey Graceffa

I have a whole review talking about my problems with this book which you can read here but I recap what I said in that review. This book had the potential to be good story and for the first part of this book it’s a pretty good story but then the more it went on the worse it got as the book tried to do to many things and if I remember correctly this book is less then three hundred pages which isn’t a bad thing but the book kept trying to add new plot points and subplots and love triangles and suddenly it’s a mess of different things. Now if the book had been longer then all these would be okay and it wouldn’t have been so rushed. There is a sequel and I don’t really want to read given how much I didn’t enjoy this book and I’m still unclear with how it ended. Maybe I’ll read it and make a review if this gets fifteen likes.

#5 Sasquatch, Love, and Other Imaginary Things by Betsy Aldredge and Carrie DuBois-Shaw

I picked this up at ALA this year thinking that this will be a funny read and I read it on the way back home and this is so bad. The summary sounds funny and cute but this book was awful. Nothing about this book was funny or cute in fact this book was more annoying then cute as all the characters try to play off as angsty teens or stereotypical characters from stories I had already read before. There is also the plot with this book that doesn’t really seem to happen until nearly the end of the book and when it does happen it’s still the worse thing in this book. It doesn’t help that this book is short, short to the point that there isn’t time for anything to happen.

#4 Jek / Hyde by Amy Ross

Another book that I got at ALA and it was another one that disappointed. The reviews on goodreads for this book were good so I figured that this book might be and I was always curious about the tale of Jekyll and Mr. Hyde so I picked it up one night and it was so boring and dull that I don’t even think I brought this book home with me. Honestly it was so bad. The leading lady was terrible she annoyed and was so dull that I couldn’t stand it and Jek and Mr. Hyde weren’t great characters either. This book is basically a giant snore.

#3 The Thousandth Floor by Katharine McGee

I’ve said this already and I’ll say it again STOP PUTTING BROTHER / SISTER COUPLES IN BOOKS! I know that sometimes one of them is adopted or they step siblings I don’t like this story and I don’t like story lines that takes teens and have them tear each other and go against each other because they jealous over a guy. This book has everything I don’t like in it and honestly I don’t plan on reading the sequel.

#2 Little Monsters by Kara Thomas

little monsters

Same thing goes for this one. Everyone else in the world loves it while I can’t stand this book one bit. This book is basically Riverdale in book form and like Riverdale it is boring, slow, and has really awful characters that I can’t sided with even though the book wants me too. The ending is also confusing for me as you learn one thing but it seems like something else was happening. I know a lot of people liked this book but I can’t sided with what it is about and what it is trying to say. I don’t like the characters and how they act. The main girl is so weak and not interesting and boring. I recommend anything else but this book, in fact if you want a good book with good characters and mystery I recommend Lock & Mori by Heather W. Petty or anything on my favorites list.

#1 Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

This was the worse thing ever! I’ve read other Maggie Stiefvater books like the Raven Boys a series in which I haven’t finished yet and I have her new book waiting for me to read but this book was just the worst. It’s so bad that when I finished I regretted not taking notes while reading it and I almost thought about re reading just so I could get notes and do a review for it. I didn’t though because I didn’t want to go through this book again so I ended up not taking notes and doing a review. This book had really dull characters with a boring storyline that didn’t began until more then halfway through the book and the fact that this book is filled with hints of bestiality through out the book and the fact these character’s don’t really seem to have any parents looking out for them. I think the lead character’s parents are in the beginning of the story but then they disappear and her and the guy character just hang out in her house and make out and have sex all the time. I didn’t really understand the ending as I stopped caring at that point and I was just glad to have finished it.

That’s it for my least favorite books of 2017! I’m sorry if I put on your favorite books in this list but I’m not really sorry these books weren’t the best. I think I used the dull and stupid and bad so many times I think they can be used anymore. I hope you enjoyed this list and look out for my top favorite shows of 2017. That should be the last of my favorites of 2017 and then we are back to reviews. You should follow my book club here and other social media links. I made a second blog that I post on monthly which you can check here. I posted rants like this once a week every week. Look out for more reviews and other random posts. Top 10 Favorite Shows! | 2017 Fall Edition

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m doing a top 10 of all my favorite shows of summer of 2017! I did one for winter in February which you can read here and I did one for spring in May which you can read here and one for summer which you can read here. I have watched so many shows this summer that I had to remove things from this list so that I could other things to this list. Picking the order of this list was hard because I liked a lot of these shows and it didn’t know where some of them should go Whatever. Let’s begin!

But first some honorable mentions!

Games of Thrones

I watched the first season of Game of Thrones. Are you proud universe? This is literally the show that almost the whole world watches and I just now finished the first season. I’ve read the first four books and I loved the first book, I liked the second book, I love the third book, and I hate book four. I debated about if this should be on my list or if it belong in the honorable mentions but I’m putting in the honorable mentions because I loved everything on the list more than I loved this show. I think I would have liked this show better if I watched it when I was reading books 1-3 and not post book four because post book four me is done with this series. I mean it’s a good show but I’m just done with it and all the hype.

Orphan Black

I finished it and it was beautiful and yes I was very scared about how it would end but every thing was fine and I cried for like an hour. I started crying and then I would stop and then I would start crying again. I’d really going to miss this show! If you haven’t watch Orphan Black what are you doing with your life? GO WATCH IT! All seasons are on Amazon so you know go get your life together and watch it. I wanted to put it on the list but it was on the list last time and I watched so many shows this season that I decided that it would just be better to put it here.

The Defenders

I did enjoy this show even though the rest of the world didn’t really seem to. Is it the best Marvel show? No that title is held by Jessica Jones but it doesn’t suck. I loved how all the aesthetics of each show blended together and I loved how the characters worked together. I’m glad I missed the Iron Fist as is the rest of the world and he was okay in this show I just loved everyone more. I’m excited for Jessica Jones season two I’m excited for Luke Cage season two and I’m really excited for Daredevil season three because you know that shit is going to be awesome! Again I enjoyed this I was going to do a full review but I didn’t have a lot to say about it other then I enjoyed it. If you like the Marvel Netflix then watch The Defenders. It won’t be your favorite but you will enjoy it.

The Five

This show! Oh my god was no what I expected it went for crime drama to crazy serial killer shit happening all in three episodes. I would put this on my list but I’ve only seen three episodes because my mom started watching it without. Hopefully I’ll pick it up again soon because I really enjoyed. If you didn’t know this is a show where a group of teens went out one day with one of the boy’s brother and then the boy’s brother goes missing. Years later at a crime scene his brother’s blood comes up in a DNA test. There is all this other cool stuff going on and it’s just crazy I was so looking forward to seeing how all of it played out. Again hopefully I’ll start watching it again.

Hit The Floor

This was going to be on the list but I started watching this other show that you’ll read about soon and I had to switch them out. This is show was one I kept reading about on tumblr and my sister and I started watching it together and then suddenly my mom and little sister joined in on it and we all watched all three seasons together. I love this show it was so crazy and dramatic and fun. I love Zero, I love  Jude, I love Kyle, they are all such great characters. It’s just so much fun to watch. I’m interested to see how the next season will work because like no one is coming back for it.

#10 The Catch

This was the show I switched out with Hit the Floor and it’s worthy because this show is soo good and I’m so sad it got canceled. This show is just so amazing! It has Peter Krause from Parenthood and I love him and I love their relationship. The whole show just reminds me of one of my favorite shows of all time White Collar and it kind of goes along the same lines. It follows Alice who is engaged and works as a private investigator and she is looking for a criminal who is called Mr. X. She comes home one day to find all of her stuff and money gone and turns out her fiancé is the guy is look for. Guys this show is so amazing and I’m so sad it got canceled. I miss it! This show is on Hulu so you can start to stream all two season which I highly recommend.

#9 Broadchurch

I watched all three seasons with my family and it just so good! If you like crime dramas then I’ll highly recommend this one. This show just ended and it wasn’t canceled I just want to say that. The mysteries on this show are so amazing and I just have so much fun watching it. The woman who is becoming the new doctor is on this show and there are like a million other people from Doctor Who who have roles on this show. This show does deal with some heavy and dark topics so if you are an young person like of five years old then I would not recommend you watch this show. I really enjoyed this show and I know that the first two seasons are on Netflix and I think season three will be on there soon so go watch it.

#8 Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency

I would just like to start with I have not finished the first season of this show and please do not leave spoilers about season two on this blog or my social media. I started watching this show because when I was watching Broadchruch on the BBC America app and I kept getting ads for this show which looked pretty interesting. My little sister and I started watching it and I’m almost done with the first season and I’m hoping to get to the second season soon. This show is so much fun and weird an quirky and I love it!

#7 Wynonna Earp

Damn dude this show was amazing! I’d been hearing about this show for awhile now and the first two seasons were on Netflix so my sisters and I were like let’s give it a shot. It’s so good and so funny. Like Supernatural but a lot better. It’s so silly but also serious at the same time. It’s just so amazing! I love it! I haven’t seen all of season three yet but I’m ready to finish it because I’ve heard so many good things about it. If you like supernatural shows then you’ll enjoy this. The lead is amazing and so funny but like it’s funnier then Supernatural and better then Supernatural. Watch it you’ll have a good time.

#6 Star VS The Forces of Evil

I started watching this show because I had seen it on tumblr and some commercials but I didn’t know what to think. I finished watching Gravity Falls and Miraculous wasn’t out yet so I was just like did something like that, something with plot and but still funny and enjoyable and that’s what this show is. I love it so much! It’s so cute and has a lot of heart and I really love Star and Marco. Marco is the best! I love him! They are both so cute and funny! Guys watch this show! because You’ll love it!

#5 The Bold Type

The show I never expected to love! I have a review about it you can here if you want. I talked about how from the commercials I thought it was going to be another cheesy freeform chow but it really isn’t! This show is just so amazing and wonderful! We have been confirmed for both a second and third season so we have thought to look forward to which I’m excited for because I miss this show! I re watched the finale and I was just reminded of how much I love this show because it’s soo good! This is one of the best things on FreeForm and just watch because you’ll love it.

#4 Big Little Lies

If you don’t remember I read this book back in the like September I think but either way I loved the book. It was so much fun to read and it left me like oh shit that happened and it was so amazing. I read the book and I decided that I would want to watch the show which had just come out. My mom who have read a lot of books by the author of Big Little Lies so we started watching it together and it was a lot of fun. They didn’t change a lot of things and a lot of the things that they changed where like things weren’t like important to the story things. I can see how they want to be a second season because the show didn’t finish it where the book left off so if they did do a second season it could work.

#3 The Mindy Project

The final season had aired and finished and I’m so sad because I have no clue what I’m going to without. I was so happy with the finish for this show because season five was okay I didn’t like Ben. I only ever wanted her to get back together with Danny. This season was amazing and funny and so beautiful. I’m so sad that it’s over. I miss it already. Mindy is just so funny and great! Why did you have to go so soon? Because I miss you! *okay i’ll stop now

#2 The Good Place

I was worried for this season because I had no clue what was going to happen but I have never laughed harder then I have watching this show. It’s so much fun and enjoyable to watch I just love it so much! if you haven’t watched the Good Place yet then what are you doing? The first season should be on netflix and the second season has some episodes on hulu so go watch it because it is so amazing. It’s just so much fun to watch! I’m excited to see where the rest of this season is going because the start right now has just been amazing and so funny and weird!

#1 Gravity Falls

I started watching this show because I had been hearing stuff about it for months and after watching and loving Miraculous Ladybug I figured that maybe I should it a try because it has a great cast and a lot cool people guest star. All two seasons are on Hulu by the way and it also as a person from Parenthood, Jason Ritter. I loved this show and it’s was just my favorite this season. I’ve watched it so many times. It’s so amazing and I would recommend it if you love mystery and fantasy. Dipper and Mabel just have a great  friendship and I’m going to love this show forever. I remembering watching the finale and just crying my eyes out and then I started rewatching the show with my little sister and the same thing happened over again. It’s such a good show.

That is all my top 10 shows for Fall of 2017! I hope you guys enjoyed this list! I’m doing one of my top 10 favorite tv shows of this year soon. Next up is favorite books and then after that my least favorite books of 2017. Then we will be having more reviews in the oncoming months of 2018. Do you guys agree with what I’ve said? Have you guys watched any of these shows? If not you really should. I hope you guys enjoy this top 10 list! Like, Comment, and follow for more rants like these! Top Five Favorite Youtuber Books (because some of them are actually good)

Greetings Earthlings! Now I don’t really know why I’m making this as I feel like everyone should understand my feelings on youtubers books but I’m making it because I do like some books by Youtubers, I just never review them. The only one that I’ve reviewed and liked was Binge by Tyler Oakley. Surprisingly though some of these books are great and well written! I thought it would be nice to talk about the ones I like. ALSO BEFORE I GET STARTED I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST THESE YOUTUBERS OR THEM WRITING BOOKS. It’s the books I have problems with, not the people who wrote it or the fact that they wrote a book. Okay okay. Let’s began!

But first some dishonorable mentions.

*this should literally come as no surprise and they both have sequels that i meant read some day when i feel like spending money on nothing. read my reviews for both here and hereI shouldn’t be too mean to Children of Eden, I mean it started out fine and I was enjoying and it’s different from most dystopians but like I said before it wanted to do too many and it could have done all those things but this book is too short for all that. The writing is also not the best thing. Now Girl Online: On Tour is just terrible. It’s the worst thing ever. It makes Children of Eden look like a classic. It’s cheesy, it’s badly written, all the character go through storylines that underdeveloped them instead of making them grow as characters, and I didn’t enjoy it.

And some honorable mentions:

connor franta

I would put this book on my list because I remember readings and liking it but it’s been so long and I don’t really remember this book. According to my review from two years ago, I loved this book. Here’s that review: I don’t know why I thought this was being to be bad! Maybe it was because I didn’t really like Zoe and Grace’s books. This book was beautiful written and it had gorgeous pictures to go with the beautiful writing. Probably the best book I’ve read by a youtuber yet. I’m wondering if I should re read this but I haven’t watched a Connor Franta video in soooo long and I don’t really like him anymore but that’s because I haven’t watched him in like fifty years. Also I hate that this is called memoir because if I remember correctly he talks about more then one part of his life making it more autobiography then memoir.

*i got this book as an arc at ALA This would be on my list because I did enjoy this book but I was going through a book slump when I read it and I feel like I didn’t appreciate to the fullest level. I want to appreciate this book because it is good book and I love Sasha Alsberg, she is so sweet and was the first booktuber that I ever watched. I will reread this book and appreciate more to the level that it should be appreciated at, and then I will do a full review on it. I’m planing on doing that closer to the release date but I’m not of my slump and I’m like I NEED TO RE READ NOW!!! I’m getting ready to move in a couple months and I had to pack up some of my books which was really hard for me and I left Zenith out just in case I decided to re read early. Besides all that though, I enjoyed this book. I loved the characters, I loved the writing, and it was so good. This book is available for preorder and I know that because it’s not coming out until January of 2018. Go Preorder now!!!

Okay Rant over. Let’s began for reals!!!!

#5 Girl Online by Zoe Sugg

zoe sugg.jpg

+C: A work in progress. Okay writing, not so great characters and story line but pulled through and was readable.

This book mainly has a special place in my heart as it was the first thing I ever reviewed on this blog and you can read that review here. But just because it’s one of the first books I reviewed does not mean I like it. This book is cheesy but like cheesy in a good way sort. It’s like a bad tv-movie romantic comedy in book form which makes it both good and bad. The different from why the second book is worse is because this has new and different elements and the characters were likable. But with book two nothing really new was added and the characters were underdeveloped and I knew what would happen in that book before I even read it. One of things I don’t think about this book, and it still carries on in the second book, is that there is nothing real in this book. Nothing to make the characters relatable or for you to feel something from them. Penny has anxiety but it’s only mentioned like we don’t get a scene if I remember were she deals with it which I would have liked as a person with anxiety. There is also a lot surrounding this book as it was ghostwritten by someone else which is an interesting thing but we aren’t going to talk about that.

#4 I Hate Everyone but You by Gaby Dunn and Alison Raskin

-A: Good story with characters that got better and a slow plot line

This book is not out yet, well it’s not out as I’m writing this, but it is available for preorder. I got this book as an arc, well I didn’t really get it I went to ALA and when I was waiting in line for Lemony Snicket and I found this in a book in a box and the cover of the arc is so funny that I had to get it. SO if you left your arc in a box at ALA then I took it and I’m sorry…… not really I’m so glad I took this book from the book. I’m clearly the better book owner here so it as destiny that we found each other okay. DEAL! This book is pretty great and it is so funny. After I read this book, I was like I have to go and watch their videos and hopefully they are as funny as this and their videos are so funny and amazing and I love them. This book also feels real which was something that I liked and some writers need to learn from when writing books *COUGH! i need to stop throwing shade at Zoe’s books…… haha never! Go read this book guys. Well go preorder this book if it’s not out yet. I have no clue when this is coming out.

#3 Dan and Phil Go Outside by Dan Howell and Phil Lester

dan and phil.jpg

-A: Good story with characters that got better and a slow plot line

I love Dan and Phil. They are my favorite youtubers and I ship them and I’m like marathoning all of their gaming videos but that’s not important right now. When they announced the first book, I was liked YES THIS IS THE ONLY THING I CARE ABOUT! When they announced they were going on tour in america I was so excited but I didn’t get to go as one i don’t think they went anywhere near me and two I was in school during that time so I wouldn’t be able to go. Then they came out with those movies about the tour and I was excited but then disappointed again as it was only available on Youtube Red which is 12.99 PER MONTH!! that’s dumb. I mean I did watch it I bootlegged it on the internet *don’t judge me but still I was sad. So when a book came out that had their journey on tour, I was like yes! That’s all this book was, just them talking about the tour with all their pictures from tour which was still fun and I very much enjoyed. The only problem is that this book was hard to read on kindle.

#2 Binge by Tyler Oakley

+ A: Perfect story with get characters and fantastic plot line.

*just a weird thing that I just learn you can change the sizes of pictures in wordpress…. HOW AM I JUST FIGURING THIS OUT NOW? I don’t know why 2015 Grace thought A Work in Progress was her favorite book by a youtuber book because that same year this book and The Amazing Book is Not on Fire come out that year and I was so excited that I preordered them and I don’t preorder a lot of books. Maybe I read that and then read this book. I loved this book it was so amazing. It made my favorites list for 2015 if you remember or seen that post. I love Tyler Oakley so when he announced that he was writing a book, it was the first time I ever cared about a youtuber writing a book. I have a whole review talking about  how much I loved this book which you can read here. It just so great. Honestly concerned this tied with the number one book but I wanted an odd number for this list. This book is funny, it’s heartwarming, it makes you laugh and it will make you cry. Go read this book.

#1 The Amazing Book is Not on Fire by Dan Howell and Phil Lester

+ A: Perfect story with get characters and fantastic plot line.

The book that I own to copies of which breaks my number one of books that I will only own one copy of a book. I first got this book on kindle and I preordered it but because I live in the US I didn’t get the book until five after the book came out in the UK and I was so mad because I was so looking forward for this book and the date that was supposed to be world wide wasn’t world wide. I still got it and I was happy that I got it and my anger disappeared but like with DAPGO it’s a very hard book it read on kindle. BUT THEN for Christmas, my friend was getting rid of her copy and I was like no give to me as a present   because I want a hard copy and she did and it’s so beautiful and I love it so much. I’ve read it like four times because i love it so much. It’s like their channels in book form and they are my favorite youtubers and I like rewatch their videos so many times. I’ve always wanted to review this book but it would be such a hard book to review. Maybe one day, I’ll review it but I don’t know what right now.

Well that’s it for this post. It wasn’t even a top 10 and it’s the same word count as a top 10. There are more youtuber books out there but either they aren’t out or I don’ remember reading them. I thought about putting some John Green books on here but I didn’t. Did you agree with what I had to said? If not then tell me. What are some of your favorite books by youtubers? Tell if you think I should read. I hope you enjoyed this post and make sure to look out for more coming your way soon. You should follow my book club here and other social media links. I posted rants like this once a week every week. Look out for more reviews and other random posts. Like, Comment, and follow for more rants like these! Top 10 Favorite Shows! | 2017 Spring Edition

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m doing a top 10 of all my favorite shows of spring of 2017! I did one for winter in February which you can read here. It’s a little late. It’s very late as it’s almost June but I wanted to do this now before we were too deep into the summer. Let’s began!

#10 The Vampire Diaries

You’ve probably heard of this show given it came out in the 2009s when everyone was vampire crazy. I’ve been watching this show for a while and I’m only on season two because I’m watching it with my mom and we are always busy doing stuff. We tried to start watching it again but we didn’t remember anything that had happen but it’s fun show to watch that I don’t have to take that seriously.  I read the book and I didn’t like but this show is a lot more enjoyable than the book was. I really like Ian Somerhalder though because he has really pretty eyes and a nice face. I hate Bonnie though Oh my god is she a hypocrite.

#9 Reign

Again this is another show on CW that I have fun watching and I don’t really have to pay attention to. This show follows Mary, Queen of Scots and I’ve wanted to watch this show for a long time and now that I’m watching it I’m not loving it but I’m not hating it. It’s an okay show that isn’t at all historically inaccurate when it comes to history which I think is hilarious. One they play modern music through out the whole thing, two the outfits aren’t correct for the time period as some of the dresses Mary wears show a lot skin and her elbows which wasn’t allowed during that time because they were weird and hated women, three their is a lot of magic involved with the storyline which I know didn’t happen. But I’m liking this show and if you like CW shows then you’ll love this one.

#8 Supernatural

I put this show on my last list and I know I raved about it because at the time, I was in love with it. I’ve been in love with it since I was 14 and even though it slowed down a little bit in the later seasons but I loved season 11! It was the best season that they had had in a while and the first half of season 12 was great and I was having so much fun but then the second half of season 12 was so boring and I hated it. Well I I didn’t hate but I was just disappointed with it. Supernatural seemed like it was going to be starting to get good again. The British men of letters thing was boring and the anti-christ storyline was too American Horror Story. Don’t even get me started on that season finale like I’m soo mad! How can they do that to me?! I won’t spoil you on anything but I hope that it doesn’t stay like that for long.

#7 Luke Cage

Again another show that it’s taking a lot of time for me to watch. I’m enjoy it though and I need to watch more of it before Defenders comes out and I also need to finish Daredevil and watch Iron Fist before Defenders. Luckily I’ll have some free time soon as summer break is near like I have a week of exams and then I’m out of school! I hope to catch up on a lot of shows during my free time. I will finish Luke Cage! I’m enjoying it so far and it’s great! I love all the characters and the story line right now and Mahershala Ali is amazing on this show.

#6 Brooklyn Nine-Nine

This show is so much fun to watch! It’s like Scrubs or Psych you know it’s in a setting that most shows take seriously and do overly dramatic plot lines but it doesn’t take itself to seriously and tries to just fun. Brooklyn Nine-Nine follows a group of people who work at  a police station in New York if you haven’t guessed and they all have different personalities that make them work together. I love Jake and Amy they are so cute together and even though they have different personalities as he is laid back and she is a giant nerd but they seem to make each other better. I love Terry and I love Rosa! And I just love the whole thing!

#5 Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Season three just came onto Netflix and it’s completely random! I love it though. The lemonade parody was amazing and so funny. This show is just a fun and completely random show and you’ll just be laughing really hard when you watch it. It has a really naive main lead who was trapped in a bunker for 15 years and she doesn’t know much about the world. Her roommate Titus is the funniest thing ever and I love the way they interact together. Just go and binge watch all three seasons because it’s so much fun.

#4 Gilmore Girls

I’m actually re watching this show because I love it so much. I just wanted to get the feel that it gave me when I first watched it two years ago. I’m on the beginning of season four which isn’t my favorite season as you know Lorelai and Rory are in different locations aren’t together most of the time and there’s the whole Dean thing. But I do love seeing young Jared Padalecki, I don’t love his character later in the series and if you are a supernatural fan then you probably thinks it funny that his name is Dean on this show. I’m just going to say this to get it out in the air……*takes a deep breath.… I hate Jess. Sorry not sorry. He’s a jerk. I mean he gets better later like in season 6 and in A Year in a Life.

#3 The Mindy Project

I need this show to come back on because it’s the final season and I need to know what happens. So season five did something that seemed like Mindy was happy about but then in the last final seconds it shows Mindy looking sad about what she decided to do. I want to know how this last season will play out. Will Danny come back because I miss him? He needs to work out his issues with Mindy and come back because I don’t like Ben that much or at all. I’m sad that it’s the last season because I love Mindy Kaling, she is hilarious and she is so great on this show.

#2 BBC Class

Again this was on my last list but it’s on airing in America and I’m showing it to my mom and  I love it! I have a review for it which you should totally read here. This show is amazing and it was created by Patrick Ness who is amazing and he never tells the same story twice every and this was a spin off series to Doctor Who! You guys need watch this show because so many people don’t know anything about it and I want a second season because I need to know what happens next! Go watch this show please. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#1 Parenthood

I binged watched this series so hard. All six seasons. In a week. I got mad binging skill. This show is a mix of comedy and drama and you will cry and laugh and it’s great. Watch it because it’s so much fun. You’ll have a good time when you aren’t crying.

Well this was fun. I enjoy talking about tv shows, I should do it more. If you were expecting 13 Reasons why and Riverdale well I’m sorry but I don’t watch trash. I’m sorry Riverdale is trash. 13 Reasons Why is just a show that I don’t agree with some of the choices that were made. Do you guys agree with what I’ve said? Have you guys watched any of these shows? If not you really should. I hope you guys enjoy this top 10 list! Like, Comment, and follow for more rants like these! 10 Top Favorite Shows! | 2017 Winter Edition

Greetings Earthlings! Today I’m doing a top 10 of all my favorite shows of winter of 2017! I have always wanted to do something like this and I was going to do it with my favorites list but I’m going to do separate list and I’m going to do one for each season. This should be fun! I hope you guys enjoy this!

#10 Daredevil

Yeah I know you are probably thinking how are you just now getting into Daredevil! I know and I’m disappointed in myself. I started watching it when it first came on but then my family wanted to watch together so then we watched that the first two episodes then my dad went and watched it without me and then after watching Jessica Jones, I decided to start watching Daredevil. I’m still working on season one but it’s hella good. I understand why everyone loves it. I’m loving all the Marvel Netflix shows. I just love any Marvel superhero stuff. It’s my life.

#9 The Crown

Another Netflix original show that follows Queen Elizabeth II coming to power and follows her and her relationship with her husband, her sister, and a lot of another people. I mainly wanted to watch because it’s got a blonde Matt Smith and I love him. Also I like watching shows that take place in different times because I love seeing all the clothes because they remind me that I was born in the wrong era! I really love shows with British people which again is like my life. I’m almost done wit the first season and I haven’t heard anything about a season two but hopefully that’s happening.

#8 How to get away with Murder

*they all look so sexy in this picture

This show is one of those shows that stresses me out so much. If you couldn’t tell by the title this show has something along the lines of murder and getting away with it and that’s all I can really say with giving anything away. I went into this show before season two aired and I didn’t know that much about and then I watched like the whole season in one day then I started season two and I was just like screaming because this show is just TOO GOOD!!! Viola Davis is just amazing in this show she is just so amazing. Every episode is like hey Viola Davis invented acting. Everyone else is really amazing too they have such a great cast. Season three B started and man it’s good!

#7 Sherlock

Season four just finished and I have mixed feelings about it. I thought the first episode was okay. I called the ending of the episode which disappointed me because Sherlock had never been predictable. The second episode was great! It was really crazy and some great moments happened. I was laughing while crying at the same time because even though what had happened in episode one was predictable it was still pretty sad and it had a giant affect. Episode three was just crazy crazy with a capital C shit went down in this episode. I was told that season four was the final season and they made it seem like the final season with how episode three ended. I was happy with how it ended but now I’m seeing all these different articles about season 5 happening and I’m just like what? If there isn’t a season five then I’m happy but if there is I’m still happy.

#6 New Girl

This is one of the shows that I’ve loved for along time because it is soo funny. This is one of the funniest shows I’ve ever seen. It’s currently on season six and I think that it might be coming to an end soon because stuff is happening and it’s making me wonder if it’s coming to end which I don’t want because this show is so amazing. It’s so much fun to watch. Every episode makes me laugh. All the characters are so unique and very weird which makes them brilliant. I love Jess, Nick, Cece, Coach, Schmidt, and Winston.

#5 Supernatural

12 SEASONS BABY! Oh my god I’ve loved Supernatural forever! It went through a rough patch but when season eleven came on it was the best thing ever. After a couple seasons of only focusing on only angels and demons they went back to other supernatural beings and then all the stuff started happening and it’s so good. I love Cas he is my favorite. This show is one that when it ends I will be really sad. I said that like it is ending soon but it’s not. I think. The second part of season 12 just came back on and it was so great. If you haven’t watched Supernatural then what you are doing?

#4 A Series of Unfortunate Events

I have a review talking about why you should watch this show here. Oh my god this was the best thing that ever happened in the month of January. I finished the books just before  watching the show and so when I got to watch it after finishing up it was amazing and so great seeing all the characters I love on tv. Neil Patrick Harris was just fantastic as Count Olaf he was mean, evil, and funny all at the same time which is basically Count Olaf. I never saw the film version of A Series of Unfortunate Events and I’ve heard mixed feelings about it but as far as I know everyone loves this adaption.

#3 Superstore

This show just came back on which I am so happy about because this show is just the best thing. It follows an odd group of people who work at a store that is like Walmart and all this random stuff happens and it’s just the best thing ever. This show takes a couple episodes to really kick in but after that it’s like non stop humor and I really love it. This show that you’ll love no matter what it’s just the best you really have to watch. It comes on NBC on Wednesdays.

#2 Victoria

I liked I said I really like watching shows that take place in a different times and that are British. This show has the adorable Jenna Coleman as Queen Victoria and it follows her journey through being queen. This show only has four episodes out right now in America and I’ve never loved thing any more. This show is fucking fantastic! I’m really into shows right now with royalty right now if you couldn’t tell. And anything with British actors. I’ve always loved Queen Victoria. I saw the film with Emily Blunt and I’m planning on reading this new book that came out on like last year. Jenna Coleman is so amazing as Queen Victoria she is just so freaking cute and she really shows Victoria grow as a character. I look forward to very episode each week and I need the new one right now!!!!

#1 BBC Class

Again I love British television. Technically I watched in 2016 but you know what I’m rewatching it so I’m putting it on the list. I have a review for why you should watch this show which you can read here and after you read that review then you need to go watch this show because it is the best thing ever!!! You may think that Class is one of those shows where it takes place in high school but they casted a bunch of people who are in their twenties and are way to beautiful to be high schoolers which is true but you ignore that you finally watch the show and realize THIS SHOW IS TOO AMAZING FOR ME TO CARE ABOUT THAT. This show needs a season two really I want a season two. GIVE ME A SEASON TWO! WHY DON’T I HAVE A GOD DAMN SEASON TWO! I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT! OR AT LEAST GIVE IT TO ME IN BOOK FORM! Sorry I just really love this show and I really want another season two. Everyone needs to watch it. Don’t watch for me, watch it for Patrick Ness and the beautiful people on the picture.

Well that was a lot of fun to write. I hope you guys this top 10 list. I’m planning on doing this for Spring, Summer, Fall, and all do something like this in December of this year then maybe next year. Do you guys agree with what I’ve said? Have you guys watched any of these shows? If not you really should. I hope you guys enjoy this top 10 list! Like, Comment, and follow for more rants like these! The Book was Better | Top 10 List

Greetings Earthlings! So a while back I made a post called Yay or Nay: Book to movie or tv adaptions which you can read here and I talked about book adaptions, the ones that failed and the ones that were successful. Even though I talked over all the ones that I don’t think I’m going put those titles in order of how much I like that the book was better then the film. *even though most of the time the book is always better

#10 Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Okay now I love Harry Potter as the next and I love theses movie. For Harry Potter movies I look at that differently from the books but for this one I can’t get over it. Ginny and Harry’s relationship was so freaking cute and it wasn’t the same in the film. The moments that I loved in to the book didn’t happen in the film. But I don’t totally hate I juts think the book is better.

#9 Twilight

I’ve been my peace with the Twilight books but I can’t get past these movies. Yes it’s a box office success but I can’t stand it. I like the Twilight book *my review has been marked changed it’s not my favorite book but it’s still good. I can’t say the same for the movie though. It’s just so cheesy and the vampires look like someone threw flour on their faces.

#8 Vampire Academy

Like I said before I keep going back and though on wether I like this film or not. Yes this book does have some scenes that are very cliche and high school but it’s got some good parts too. This movie undermines the parts that are good and makes this film seem like it’s trying to be action and for the stereotypical teenagers that they think want this movie.

How about less Mean Girls and more butt-kicking vampire scenes. Also what’s with the poster? What’s with the uniforms? Also everything that needs to be explained is narrated! Why?

#7 Pride & Prejudice & Zombies

Don’t get me wrong I did like the book and the film because it’s like Pride & Prejudice just with zombies. The film was great and I thought it was so much fun and the acting was great. But halfway through the film it decide to ditch the story and go it’s own way. Away that I didn’t like. It should have followed the book a little bit more.

#6 City of Bones

The Mortal Instruments is the only series to be on here twice. The movie version of City of Bones is like Vampire Academy. They brought out the parts of the book and made them the main focus. I didn’t like Alec or Isabelle, they story only focus on Clary and Jace which kind of sucked because I love the other characters too. I like Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell in this film I like they are great actors but everyone else wasn’t that good. Well I liked Simon.

*i’ll always love simon

#5 Paper Towns

Unlike everyone else, I thought that this adaption was pretty close to book. Besides the ending. But I like the book better because I liked the characters much better. In this movie I couldn’t connect with any of the characters like I did in the book. I found myself *wink wink finding the characters in the movie a little bit unlikeable. But thing is I still think that they are all perfectly casted.

I’m lost about my feeling *wink wink wink

#4 I am Number Four

*did you get that???

The Lorien Legacies is kick ass series about nine aliens and their protectors who are sent to Earth after their planet is destroyed. No this isn’t about Four from Divergent stop making stupid jokes. They are the only ones left of their kind and all of them are being hunted. This is a story of kick ass characters, love, betrayal, and action. This film was trying to only focus on that love part and it tried to seem more then a Twilight wannabe with weird alien power scenes but that didn’t happen!

Also what’s with Six and the random accent? And with blonde hair? It’s like a reverse Annabeth.

#3 Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters

Theses movies suck! But this one doesn’t suck as much as the first like they tried to fix. They talked about Thalia and her give that backstory *which they did in the first movie but it was A DELETE SCENE!! Annabeth has blonde hair, camp half-blood looks like camp half-book, and they still had some of the moments from the book just not in order. But we still didn’t get the Percy Jackson we wanted.

#2 The Mortal Instruments

The second appearance of the Mortal Instruments on this list. Three years after the City of Bones movie, we got Shadowhunters. A very very cheesy version and very very off version of The Mortal Instruments. I do like the actors much better then I enjoy the ones in the movie and the acting. It’s not the best thing though. The first two episodes followed the story but then it stopped.

#1 Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief

I’ve heard some people say that they think this is better then the book and I just give them a long glare. I saw this movie before I read the books and I liked it. Then I read the books and now I can’t watch these movies without being filled with rage. I mean guys Uncle Rick hates these movies that’s how bad they are! If Percy Jackson ever gets picked up again then they must have it be perfection because we can’t take another failure!

The only reason I wanted another movie was so that I could see Percabeth on screen but if they did continue, they would probably destroy it.

You guys are probably wondering where is Insurgent is. Well I hate the Divergent and I am not a fan of the films so there’s no place that here. There are also much more but these are here for now. I hope you enjoyed this list! Do you guys agree with me on? What’s your favorite adaption? Like, Comment, and follow for more rants like these! Also make sure to follow my social media links and check out my link page for more ways to find stuff by me!
